CAR RELATED

Hey folks. My gfs dad has just started up a new gas system installation business and is looking for customers. The big plus about this is that theres absolutely no waiting list!.
For now if youre interested just PM me and ill get back to you. Not just yourself though, ask your friends and family.
But in future Ill hopefully be able to just give you the company name and number for you to organize yourself.

A basic system is $2600 (before $2000 rebate)
Any specific need can be catered for. Computer controlled injection, donut tanks etc.

The more customers the better! No amount is too much. So with the price of petrol these days the choice should be simple. That $600 will be paid off in no time with the money you save on fuel. Get everyone you know!

$2600, after $2000 rebate its only $600.

And they even do computer controlled gas injection systems.
(get back to you on the price about them)

is that $2600 for both a carbi car or efi car? just wondering for a mate, I have LPG already on my ute..

also, isn't the rebate only on certain cars/models?

Im not sure of the rules. But ive been told the rebate is for anyone and everyone.
Also, ill have to get back to you about the price for carby and efi, as far as i know, its the same.
fo_sho_man
carbi should be cheaper as no computer is needed.

I remember reading that the rebate is limited to certain cars like falcons, commodores, even RAV4s.. go figure.. be careful in regards to that.

They are the shiznit!!!!
i went to see my old boss who still does mechanical repairs and LPG installs he fitted one to a ford territory. They are wicked. They switch between petrol and gas seemlessly and sense when the gas is low too so it automatically switches it over just before it runs out. There is no power loss with them at all and on the XR6 turbo the actually promote a 20kw gain i believe .

I used to have a celica with Straight gass and supercharged was soo cheap to run and lots of power. Not many people know but LPG actually has a higher octane rating ( explosiveness) than Premium unleadded. thumbsupsmiley.png

i'd like 2 get gas fitted 2 my 89 pajero, but dont want to have the gas tank insede (loss of cargo space) and dont want to lose my fuel tank. i still need a full size petrol tank 4 when i go away, can something be done with 2 smaller custom tanks fitted under the car somewhere??

man there is a place down thebarton way that specialises in 4wd - can find out the name tomorrow from my mate - they do all that sort of standard and custom stuff

mmmm gasss. yea got a LPG system put onto my car, donut tank, so takes up no boot space lol thats already taken up by sound equipment which wasn't going to be sacrificed. got a LPG injection setup runs beautifully and its all ready for when i get a turbo setup installed. graham west workshops have a test xr6 turbo that they got it installed on the cars making 415 at the wheels i believe if i could be bothered getting the mag out and checking, and on gas, uses lpg to make up the 290 KWs of power then the remainder is made up by squirting a bit of petrol in too.

and yes it is true gas has a higher equivalent octane rating compared to petrol, its averages around 110 RON , depends on the mix of butane to propane in the gas, if u can find a place that sells boral gas then your set thats pure propane i cant remember where they were though, but thats about 120 to 130 RON, and don't get gas from mobil because thats almost pure butane.
