Apparently there will be a full Lunar Eclipse tonight (best seen from the east coast but visible from all over Australia).
The eclipse is supposed to start at 7pm (AEST) and start totality at 7.50pm (AEST).
The Earth will be between the sun and the moon tonight, casting a "shadow" across the moon. Only small red ray's from the sun will be able to penetrate the outer of the Earths atmosphere making it around the Earth and catching on the moon, this will turn it to a red colour. If conditions are good tonight it may even turn a deep blood red colour!
Make sure you get out and have a look.. it's not to late, and should be amazing.. last time this happened was 7 years ago and it's not expected to happen again for another 3 years.
