Just wondering if any one else is going to see Tiesto play..?

His 3 Melbourne shows have sold out, and his sydney and brisbane shows werent far away either...?

Serious? Damn I would've gone to a Melbourne show. I take it you're going?

I wanted to go to Melb but everything sold out so quickly I decided not to... We've got a full on month of good music in March that I can happily waste my money on, not to forget Fringe!

Actually, there are a whole heap of tickets to the Melbourne shows on sale at Ebay going for ridiculous prices. People have been flogging them off the net for prices between $280 to $500. I don't think I'd ever pay to see someone that much.

My girlfriend and her mate are going to the Sydney show.. they got their tickets about a week ago. I'm not going, not a fan of Tiesto.. well, not enough of a fan that i'd fork out the amount of money they are likely asking!

But i'm sure it'll be an awesome night for those big fans of his heading interstate.

Im off to the 3rd Melb show. Have an extra ticket which ill sell on EBay closer to the date:)

Yes, Mettina and I are going as we also have tickets to the 3rd show...

Not many DJs in the world can ever claim that they have played at an opening ceremony at an olympic games, so I think his show will be well worth the money we spent on tickets...

Saw a DVD of one of his European perfomances a while back (with some ridiculous number of people in the audience) and it just looks AMAZING. I think $100 is a bargain to get that kind of concert experience - people pay several hundred to see The Police for gawd sakes!!!

I'd pay to see him if he came to Adelaide

Well he might be coming to Adelaide as I've been told that two of our biggest promoters are trying to secure a deal and bring him over here.

I've been speaking with Tiesto's management and touring promoter for months and they just won't give any info!!

If anything... I'd say whoever is putting him on in melbourne will tour him over here. Same as like Future Music Festival, Two Tribes, Parklife etc....

Same here. I know South Australia doesn't have that same sort of demographic as our Eastern cousins, but I'm pretty sure we could pull enough numbers to bring him here. Look at what Paul Van Dyk did as a headlining act.

I would definitely go if he came to Adelaide, mostly cuz it would save me money in airfare and accommodation!!

Can't they just book it and then cancel if not enough ppl buy tickets like other big famous ppl do?

SO is anyone going to the Melb gig?? I'm flying over all the way from Perth... catching up with my sis who is doing the trek from R'adelaide... I cant wait I have waited long enough to see him!!

I hope you're spending the whole weekend in Melb - as Leon mentioned, we're going to the fri concert 1/5/08. If you're still partying at 1am the next morning we'd love to catch up!!!
