Winter Enchanted

Winter Enchanted is a raving institution. These days Enchanted is one of the few events that has maintained a level of musical and vibe based integrity. Enchanted is about music, vibe and the right to be as you please. This is not an event for self-centred scenesters trying to appear in the social columns. Enchanted never has and never will be about people wearing cookie-cutter fashions from a chain store and getting down to whatever rubbish commercial radio throws at them. Enchanted is about expressing yourself, it's about enjoying the vibe and being fraking proud of it! This is part of why we think it is a stress vacuum. A place where you can get rid of the need to conform or to pick up, look cool or impress the local prom king and queen. Enchanted is a collective of people looking for a party that requires nothing more than a smile and a positive attitude. Winter Enchanted is here on July 5 2008. Live it, love it and always Relive the Adventure.

Venue
This year Winter Enchanted comes to the famous Old Queens Theatre in the city, located halfway between Waymouth and Currie Streets. This nineteenth century theatre has housed all kinds of performances including several legendary Adelaide raves. The Old Queens Theatre is a venue in the style of the classic warehouse rave venues of yesteryear.

Queens Theater is an awesome place for a rave.. it's been years since i was last there!

PS: maybe i'm just outta the loop.. but who are Joop, Gleave, Phil Walls?

Joop plays Trance and is from the Netherlands I think.
Phil Walls plays Techno.
Not sure what Gleave plays though.

Celeste I've never heard of any of them.

Gleave is Trance Apparently.

AMS is coming... I know I'm gonna get some freeform so I'm happy!

I think i'll wait a bit longer.. see who else is in the line up before making a decision to go...

I've decided not to go. Bit disappointed about that because I was looking forward to it after missing out on both Enchanteds last year. But I think it's for the best. Might go to an afterparty, if there is one and I hear about it in good enough time.

yeha i hope u wont need any.. but if ya do.. we always have lots of ice on hand

yeah ice always helps a sore "raved out" ankle.


i always bring spare socks.....many times have i danced to the point were i ripp holes in my socks. and when that happens i quickly change my socks to avoid nasty blisters

what helps also, if you know ur prone to blisters make sure u get a water proof bandaid and cover the spots on ur foot that are prone to heating up.. so u can prevent it from happening.

hmm it really sux this was cancelled! have never been to a winter enchanted and was really looking forward to it

Hopefully summer has alot more effort and time put into it. After this one being cancelled people will be hanging by summer no doubt.
