Body Art

I have noticed that there is an increasingly large amount of ppl now with body art or tattoo's. (myself included recently ) I thought I would start a forum to see how many ppl out there have one or many and, how many ppl would like one if they dont already.

I'd love to get a cool tat but my uncontrollable fear of (and eventual fainting from) needles doesn't help the situation.
Plus, you have to go completely original - to point getting something that everyone has, like a zodiac sign!

I suppose your right, it really does not hurt as much as you think it does

I have a tattoo on my foot
kinda like a scull with celtic wings

its a long story , both funny and tragic

suffice to say I forgot I had it the next day

the look on my face, when I noticed it- must have been priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no tats... i've always want a barcode under my hairline on the back of my head.. so when it's shaved it shows thru.. but never done anything about it.

I have two atm
1. is on my back which has my Fathers name in it.... Hard to explain to others unless you know what it is an it incorprstes a couple of things.... Tattoo artis drew it up for my.... Nice work John
2. I have a Heart with Celtic outline on my left arm. This has my Daughters names just under the heart...

3 to be done will be my son's name & 4 will be one for my mum & most likley incorparated with my fathers.

I got the chinese symbol for ecstasy on my back just below the shirt line, I origianlly wanted the chinese symbol for speed but could not find it, reasons....spped cause im constantly on the go ( should live in sydney im told) and ecstasy cause it stands for feeling of intense happiness and that is how i feel when im with my gem

Im scribbling down a few designs for my next tattoo...wana make sure I got it right
I want a tattoo for every major event that happens in my life...or each stage of my life...something to signify and remind me of the good times had!

I only have one tattoo - on my right upper arm, a little devil with which im getting my daughters name incorporated with it.

Other than that i have both nipples peirced and my left eyebrow pierced.

Tatts are totally hot!!!! I'm not a fan of skulls and crossbones and naked ladies, but i think a nice tattoo in the right place is good. I don't have any myself, but not because i don't want one just because i can't find something that will i am prepared to have on my body forever let alone something that will be age appropriate when i am 60 and gravity is not so kind (god help me)

my brother recently has been going through a tattoo stage, he's gotten a few. Most recent is a blood brothers thing, him and a few mates have all gotten.

HOWEVER I'm too chicken, considering the one i want, will probably have to be along my spine. Yeah, i'll get piercings, and that, but I'm too chicken to get a tat.
Though, with Buph recently telling me he got one, I'm now thinking if he can handle such pain, I definately can ;D

It's of two dragons, which form a love heart, and in the middle is a devil woman, it looks hot as, i've loved the picture for ever.

Go for it babe, it doesn't hurt tat much.

Its a 4 state barcode i did at work. Simply type anthems and it appears as a barcode. Do a Google search for various types of barcode fonts Take your PC to coles and ask for a price check..........

I love tattoos! I think most forms of decent bodyart can be very attractive depending on where and what of though! I've have been thinking of getting a tattoo for years but I have to design my own so it is completely original!

but seeing as hunter s thompson has shot himself they have finally released it in australia. saw it at video ezy for $24 yesterday.
classic film.

I got it Good Friday 2003 to represent the change in my life that I was going thru. That week I had changed jobs, moved house, and left my boyfriend. A lot of things changed around that time.

I have a small purple rose on my back an I got that the day after I went to the Everclear concert at Thebby Theatre when I was 17 (1998 i think)

I wanna get one of Betty Boop on the bottom of my back/top of my bum, and the chinese symbols for peace, love, unity and respect. Not just because I'm a raver and the whole Plur thing, but because I truly believe these are 4 things that all people should feel, and in turn, send out to the rest of the world.

all this talk of tatts reminds me of a joke i heard once....
a little white guy goes into a mens toilet, and starts to have a pee. on his doodle is tattooed "kym" in honour of his wife. then, a big burly black guy walks in, unzips and starts to pee. the little white guy notices it says "wendy" on his doodle.
little white guy says, "hey thats a coincidence, you have you girlfriends name tattooed on your dick too!", to which the black guy says "no mon, it's on the slack mon, when it's on the full, it says 'welcome to jamaica have a nice day'"

wanted a tat since i was in my early teens, but managed to hold out till i was well past 18....
1st tat was supposed to be a dragon, but found an awsome pic of a phoenix and knew straight away where i'd get it (left hip)

2nd & 3rd i got at same time....5 dots in the shape of the southern cross (as australian as i could go without getting the flag LOL) on the outside of my right ankle; and i drew a symbol for 'taurus' which is just at my pants line on my back, on right hand side.

my very last 1 will now be the dragon (cause i really, really want 1!!) and i have the perfect design and placement for it but b4 i get that, i want to finish off my phoenix by getting a huge chineese fireball behind it in coulour (will look awsome since the phoenix is all black)

all are very symbolic and apart from the original phoenix design, all are by my own hand.
also got tongue, ears, belly pierced and used to have the webbing inbetween my thumb and pointer finger pierced as well (very short lived tho!!)

I wanna get a tattoo with some chinese symbol thingies ... like Buph's but maybe one my back or tummy or something. But I'm a massive wuss when it comes to pain :/

Have got my left eyebrow and nipple pierced, had my tounge done but took it out. Thinking about getting my labrette done but not sure... Wanted to get a tat since I was 7 but have held off... want the perfect design and something that incorporates my sons name into it.

My tat is of the sacred heart it is on my ankle, i alson got my nipple pierced last month.

Nipple hey...i was going to but thought it would hurt to much so i got my tongue instead

I had my tongue done.

I also have 3 tats, a grim reaper, a tribal arm band, ans some tribal shit on my back which i hate. I got my first when i was 18, my second at 19, and my third at 21. The colour has spread in all over time, they need to be re done and im only 28. Not happy..... if i could have my time to make the decision again.... id be tattoo free

Im just a different person now... I dont care to much that i have them, and i like the arm band and the reaper. Im just unhappy because the colour has faded and bled over the years...

I've got two tatts... First one i got when i was 16. It's a tribal design in the shape of a love heart with a butterfly in the middle and my second one i got when i was 17 its on the back of my shoulder sorta thing, it's a little devil n he is bending over n showin his arse n got the cheekiest little grin on his face it's sooo cute I want to get another one done soon but of wot.. i dont know!! I also got my tongue, bellybutton & ears peirced. i used to have my eyebrow peirced too but i had 2 take it out for work

hey can any one sugest a place to go and get a henna tat. we want to try it out first to see if it looks good so figure a henna one would be a good start. we live near glenelg
