Thanks, I've had it nearly 3 years and have done heaps to it...

It's basically set up as a tarmac rally car but still has full street trim.. (which i remove when racing or rallying)

S2, the best of the first 3 series.. and its white.. nice.. my friend would be loving it now..
he had one with a J-Port I think, lost control of it in the rain due to the tune of the engine and wrote it off.. still manage to sell the engine off tho, he was running everything else stock..

FO_sho_man... yeah they can be animals with a J port.. hard to drive in bad conditions as engine is so agressive! i take mine to mallala to release stress... hehhee

just went on a SA ROTORS cruise.. over 100 cars..l. all down to rapid bay on sunday .. was sweet!

So your a CAMS marshal hey..? I'm a CAMS Scrutineer but i mostly do rallys. You should recognise where my photo was taken then! In front of one of the sheds at Mallala this year when i was out on a club track day.

My car should be in the next issue of Speed Magazine who was at our clubs track day taking photos. They came an interviewed me aswell for details of my car.. Hopefully they got some good pics... 8)

Factory standard, but they go alright stock anyway.

yeah huge holden fan...

nah just been brought up with fords all my life... my old man races one and has always had fast street fords. I dont have anything against holdens, they're not bad cars.. Just have a preference. I'm a 6cyl man too, dont need anymore or less than that

I like rotors, just wouldn't own one personally. wat series u got?

I own an XF ute and will be hopefull buying an ED or EB falcon to run on gas as my one and only car (for financial reasons also). I like fords..

FC3S is Dannys car he is a mad DnB fan the Yellow FC. we also had FC3C the black convertable FC , so had both 'sports coupe and vert plates covered

is ur old man racing in the support races for the v8s in a couple weeks? if so wat car and ill keep an eye out.. colour??

just went for my first ride in an RX-8 when i went out for lunch! me an a mate with an FC down at the deli an rx8 pulls in we get to chating " ill take ya for a quick thrash' 9k red line 1st 2nd and half way there in 3rd.... SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! dam nice... i want one....


and yes mallala is a great way to release stress and the AMMCOM series is a cheap way to get onto the track and have fun in your road car!

his name's bruce heinrich... last time i checked his car was yellow/orange. But no idea what it could be now... it's been in perth for the past few weeks, ready for racing this w/end.

which v8's? yeah it's most likely if the saloon car's are racing as a support category.. he'll be there!

Was thinking about gettin involved in marshalling at mallalla, rallies, speedway and such.. but i just dont have the time nowdays... how hard was it to get involved? what sort of procedure did you go through to get involved?

im a member of SA Rotors we are affiliated with the Austin 7 club that does all the timeing out there, thru them we got asked if any of our members would be interested in marshalling... basically contact SAMROA or chat to some one involved on the day. i did a 3 race meet traineeship for my CAMS level 4 marshaling licence for track, communications and general race duties.

since then i worked on the chicance for the clipsal 500 all 4 days at turn 3 was awesome!
u stick in as much time as u feel u can
there is no mininum time frame of commitment no cost involved.. unless u join as financial member of SAMROA but that is not needed just polite to do so

its easy to get into and is a great way to get close to the action and free entrance lunch supplied etc is a bonus

Post regency inspection, my baby is almost back to it's low old self, and definately back to being loud

Some boys in blue started giving me a hard time last night, but I got quite forcefull (but till polite) and told them this had crossed the point of harrassment. They checked my licence and then wandered off....phew! Thought it wasn't even going to last a week out of regency before finding myself booking again!

good work davin.. i talked my way outta a regency visit for having extractors on the s2.. the coppa coudlnt work out that i only had two combustion chambers and i needed a seperate pipe for each one... its a rota like sif i havnt got extractors... with loooooonnnnnggggggggggggggg pipes all the way to the diff

Apexi adjustable coilovers do this biz for mine. As for exhaust, with the variable flow part installed into the exhaust to shut it up, it was 96db at 3200 revs (limit is 90db). You don't wanna know how loud it is without the variable flow thingy

The system is straight through, so I had to restrict it that badly to get it under 90db, it almost wouldn't run.

heeheheh sounds nasty... we have a few issues with the rotors once u bridge port J port or PP its extremely hard to keep them quiet. that and they push alof of air so generally require a good flowing exhaust.

well glad to know another inports clean again.. hate them lil stickes... u in ns.com or psi etc?

I've never been a member of any car clubs actually. The closest I've come is driving for the PSI team at the go-cart 100 lap marathon at Richmond Fartmania. Back in '99 to 2000, The nissan SVD owners club used to leave cards on our R33 (the one in that photo) and R32, asking if they could use our cars for shows, but neither my GF or I were overly excited about losing our daily drivers to someone for the weekends.

ahhhhhhh, it does reminds me of the days when we first got those cars and the cops left us alone *enters dream like state and starts drooling at the mouth until a puddle forms in crotch*

doing it this sat night actually i got a 120 lap endurance race organised for the rx7 boys n girls.
thats tag teams swap 20 lap intervals 2 drivers per team.

the longest i have arranged was a Kart Maniac day. when we did 125 laps each. a few VERY sore people afterwards... people abusing me for bruises etc for days!

100 laps in hard on your body.. so is a day on the track, i woudlnt recomend 100 laps in a session to many people.. in fact Kartmania richmond didint actually want us to do more than 75 in a day due to possible injuries... but we did the full 125 after we managed to talk em into it...
i wasnt to bad but a few people had some time of work from it, just a day or two..

even a track day at mallala takes it out of you a fair bit. your glutes legs even kidneys back etc from bracing urself so hard all day

thanks joker, at the time of those pics buzzn was a bit of an embarrassing stocker, then it was 'forcefully taken' for a joyride by sum unknown nincenpoops, and after i recovered what remained of it in brahma lodge.. i've taken to redoing the whole car. so now its getting a healthy power increase too!

DelusionL - yeh i was one of the original members of SAR - was on the 1st b'day cruise too, but after losing interest in my car, and then losing it altogether i havent been to a meeting or anything car-related for a while. am mates with Kendo (exellerent from SAR) but am also known by a couple SAR guys (Ian, Sanjay, Ryan, Nathan to mention a few).

ATM its a FWD 2WD non turbo, but we have got a turbo motor and wiring loom for it, so i going to rebuild it up stronger, and hope to put a bigger turbo on it

its red with front bar, a 90 model, KF (i think)

first i just wanta sell mine, and then get the tx3, always wanted one, its the next shape upp from the bubble back lasers, 3 door hatch

I love my skylines and don't want to go back to commies, but........ my fastest ever car was an *optimized* (read into that what you will hehe) VN with the good old Gen 2 V8. It ate up and spat out the R32 GTR, and that sound.........oooooooh yeah I love spnning the old RB engines up to 7 and 8 grand for that howling nissan and garrt symphony, but I would do anything for the skyline to sound like my old V8 LOL

thought your car looked speed limited.. another reason why you have those speed limited signs like the trucks, you know the ones that say they are speed limited and overtake you at way over the limit?

those cars are nice.. I used to have the LD Astra 1.6L, white, got HSV struts with lowered springs and some 15" speedy wheels, looked neat and was great car.. has no powersteering though.. my bro got it after me and has trashed it what a waste..

I was looking at doing the rear disc conversion and the CA18DET conversion on it too.. they handle so well and roomy too for their size.. yours is a very good example of how nice they can be..

the reebok pulsars and especially the SSS where great cars..

tell me, you have a bit of a prob with the front end there aye?

the langley is a 2 door LD Astra with a CA18DET.. there is one, maybe more but don't know, of them in Adelaide. A white one.. was used mainly for rallying..

they are easy to fix those cars, so you shouldn't have many problems.. that section under the headlights should come out, as its just a spacer because the astra have bigger headlights..

I prefer the astra taillights and the pulsar headlights..

It has supa low king springs in it... i think the profile of the tyre is too low, thus making it look high. or that the side skirts are black and make it look higher...

Its bottoming out as it is, i wont go any lower...

its higher since i put 17"s on it, Perhaps the total diameter is more than what i had when the 14's were on it. It sucks, I have an issue with my RHS rear suspension atm so i'll get the whole lot looked at when i take it up to my suspension guy.

I doubt the 17's would do that if they are the correct size tyres.. I only have lows on both the lancer and ute and I reckon they pretty good as they are, don't look like 4WDs..

i went from 195/60 14 to 215/40 17. The diameter of the 14s with tyres is less than what the 17's with tyres are now.

I spoke to my mate about the vidoe, and there were a couple of details i left out.

1. the car had been defected for tyres or something so it had stockies on it.
2. the burnout is out the front of regency just after the defect was lifted.


I get the vid next weekend and will work on getting it hosted....

Celica SXR 1998 (I'm a girl so i'm allowed to drive a girls sports car!!)

my car is just a basic stock model at the moment, but i'm hoping to do it up!! problem is i just forked out $2000 on getting the engine rebuilt (not at all something i was planning) but when i get pics.. i'll definatley keep you posted.

The plan is veilside bodykit, (white at the moment) but then magenta hood (with scoop of course) magenta flames coming from wheel arches.... 17" rims.. shadow crome (studded ones so the car looks "phat" not to "girly")... and in the future.. mayby frenched supra rear lights (?) just a thought at the moment.

at least you picked it. Obviously not the stock exhaust.

3" Jun BL racing spiral resonator, splitting into 3" Jun BL racing spiral mufflers.

The rx8 runs to hot that the muffler on the right blew out at the back after about 1000kms and needed to be tigwelded back together. You can see the pipes have gone golden, that happened almost immediately after the installation.

It now sounds like a rotor now, instead of a sanitised EU emissions standards silent bollocks car.

... and it made it quicker too. 5.9 seconds to 100 kph, with the mazdaspeed flywheel.

DelusionaL has been for a quick round the block hoon in it. I bumped into him at a deli in Plympton North.

The stripes were originally 2" wide, and i put them on my self... was a piece of piss....

When i had the car resprayed (after the tree jumped out at me) i decided for a wider stripe...

went 4" and 3" gap... but found it was about the same as a white line on a road...

and yeah well.. the rest is shown in the pic...

PS 4" wide vinyl is reallllly hard to put on....

i was at it for 7 hours to get it right, and most of the car (apart fromt he bonnet) was a bitch to do...

But i wouldnt have it any other way!!!
