Whats Your Favourite Browser?

With the debate of what is the best browser and which one is not, I thought I'd start this topic and see what most people use..

It is said that IE is the most popular and Firefox is picking up popularity.

Tell us what you like about the browser you use..

Firefox has it's advantages, but it still doesn't work properly in as many cases as IE does. In the last few days alone I've had these problems with firefox that don't exist with IE

- Sequential drop down boxes don't work (eg select a product tpe, then that changes the next drop down boxe's options)

- My computer wholsaler website login doesn't work at all

- Flash image doesn't refresh

Great browser, but you still can't do away with IE

ive been using firefox for about 3months now and havent looked back! love the tab function so you can view multiple pages at once on the one window!!

I still use IE due to its quick loading times, what Davin said about compatibility and cause its a habit now..

Safari then Firefox. The only thing safari doesnt do it use down arrows to select drop down boxes. Oh, another thing it doesnt do id infect your computer with shit all the time.

IE for me!
I have tried Firefox but not to keen. I have been using IE since the begining of my existence on the interweb and i guess im just stuck in my ways

I do use IE for BankSA online banking... it's the only thing Safari will not work on!

on my PC i've used Firefox for the past year and never had any problems. everything has worked fine.

on my Mac, Safari

I'm not sure how you and TCB seem to be 100% happy with Firefox. Top browser, but all the way except for about 10% of websites LOL

I went from IE to firefox about a year ago and have never looked back!

I don't have that many issues with websites... haven't noticed what Davin said..

a few problems I have had is some FLASH content not loading (I have had this problem twice). And also a problem when downloading .wmv files, it renames them as a .htp for some weird reason. but still downloads the file, I just have to change the name. This happens on only 2 websites all the rest work fine.

I think its still 100% worth it, since not using IE, I have had about a 80-90% reduction in spyware/virus/popups, no more annoying shortcuts put on my desktop, no homepage hijacks, and no bloody toolbars installed etc.

Give Firefox a few more years of development (its really still only an infant compared to IE) and i beleive it will be a better and more popular browser than IE! (unless Mr Gates sabotages/buys out/kills the works at Mozilla).

wow, I've got my browser updated and patched, running SP2, and popups, hijacks, shortcuts, etc are mostly a thing of the past with IE. Were you running un unpatched machine or have u been a naughty boy and been visiting hardc0re pr0n sites

Using IE on a PC is like having unprotected sex with the whole world!

Safari on Mac is the best. Has a few things it could clean up on, like tabbing, but it's powerful, no lag, quick, doesn't infect everything under the sun and only downloads cookies specific to the sites you use. Also like Paul said, BankSA sucks ass on Safari.

I have just made a website and after fixing all the conflicts it had opening in firefox ive just had a complaint that it stuffs up in Netscape. By the looks of the screenshot i was sent the netscape isnt reading the attached css style sheet.

anyone here know how to help?? Paul? I know your a website and a mac guru!

Netscape was the better browser on Mac when IE for Mac was in it's early stages, but once IE developed, Netscape was inferior and then Safari came along

I would have to agree with the benefits of IE , tried Firefox but it just stuffed up my computer and froze lots, same with my bro's comp, so we switched back to IE and have had no problems
