Was that difficult to do?
The biggest thing in my way of studying, is I don't know how well I would adapt. I've been out of school for 8 years now (shit that makes me sound old!) and I'm really not sure how I would cope.
And as I didn't finish high school, what courses do/should i do? What requirements will I have to meet etc before going to Uni? How do I apply etc etc... Has anyone else gone to uni as a mature age student?
no going to lie to you Em, but it is a bit of a shock. it can be done, just need the dedication and put in some extra hours (but who am I to talk, I got credits left, right and centre and only did one topic in first semester, going to 3 next semester). you can sit an adult re-entry test which is the way you gain entry into uni as an adult. I haven't sat this test as I wasn't allowed to because of my previous degree etc etc. what you should do to prep for uni? I would suggest contacting the uni that offers your course, most, if not all, of the course co-ordinaters are really really nice and approachable people (especially if your a mature student) and they'll advise you want you should do to make your journey through uni a pleasent one.
just some food for thought..
