This one here is another of my favourites. I had the landlord/agent come to install window locks for me. I was quite thankfull when i saw him leave and reverse his traytop ute into the boot lid of my car. AND!!!!!! When i called him (i was not quick enough to get down the stairs) He basically in a round-a-bout way denied it!!!
I think my bro's old Barina takes the cake for panel damage without a crash. If he had pics, your jaw would drop! I like the idea of this thread! Although, when I first read, "Show us your dings", I thought it was more of a lifestyle thread

heres a nice one for ya all, bout 2yr ago i got jamed between 2 cars, got hit from the rear, and he pushed me into the guy infront, and the f@#ked up thig bout it all neather of them had any damage. i was stoped for bout 30 sec, and the guy just didnt see me the end story $6500 later and 3 weeks it was back on the road... $500 from writing it off, if it had damaged to boot lid they would have
to make things even more f@#ked up is that the first week i was with out a loan car, the 2nd day i got one, i went out side in the morning, loan car jacked up with all wheels missing, took another 3 days to get some more (dont ask) and then on the end of that week 4 days later went out side again and some one throwed a rock through the side window a took a cd yes one cd!!, so a gave the car back
so the total time the car was off the road i had a loan car for 1 of the 3 weeks

I let my houe mate take my car while I was at tafe, yeah my car might be older but it was in mint condition, not a skratch on it... she when to this party at the local boat ramp, and reversed around in to a pole huge skratch up the side and a nice dent in the air vent thing (yep I am chick I dont know if that is what its called or not)
anyway she doesnt tell me about it and I notice it while detailing my car one afternoon.. she said I never seen it before maybe someone ran intot he car inthe car park..
about a month after I kicked her out (for other reasons) I have a mate over who was at the party and he was telling me that she was maing a joke of it at the party saying 'I am so blode I cant even park properly'

Thought I'd throw a photo of my handy work in..
Only had the car for a few mths. Driving through the city on Nth Tce
traffic banked up real quick n I hit the picks.. just a little too late.
ran into the back of some young punk, little to no damage to his car
mine: grill, nose cone , headlight surrounds & bumper.
Have just had the front end repaired along with several small rust
spots ,stone chips etc. Whole car resprayed. Came up alright.
Could have spent alot more on the respray.. pretty happy with
the work that was done and the price paid. Will see how it looks after
its been cut back an buffed next week!!
Had already planned to have rust repaired when I bought it so when I
damaged the front I decided I may aswell fix everything rather than run
the thing into the ground like half the other cars I've owned.

929 76 stock. Interior is minta. The whole car is pretty tidy. Not interested in doing any mods. Wanna keep it original (besides the mags) although have been tempted to put stockies an white walls along with venetion blind across the back window.
Had no trouble at all finding parts.. hardest part was finding a straight front bumper.

my toyota crapolla would put all your rides to shame....the rust in it has created a plethora of speed holes (they make it go faster), and with the kayak strapped to the roof for extra cornering hold (ala sprint cars), the chicks can't help but gape when they see it!!!!

The bonnet was repaired after transit damage that happened somewhere between Japan and our driveway The reapir was not up to standard, and a few specs of dust got in the clear coat.
After 6 years in the aussie sun, the dust specs caused a tiny fracture in the clear coat and water got underneath it. So the increadibly bright (and now ex) girlfriend decides butting/ashing ciggies on the bonnet would be funny cos it would need respraying one day anyway.....and now you see the result
I've had it booked in 3 times for the bonnet respray, but I've had to cancel twice and the paint boy once. I need to put it back on the to-do list

I had an R32, then we got that 33 for her, but she preferred mine and I got stuck with hers. So while I could have gone off at her, it was kinda her car even though I drove it. Should have ashed a ciggie on her now that I think of it
After I broke up with the ex, I couldn't really justify 2 skylines, so I stupidly sold the R32 to some 17yo girl who was definately a canditate to kill herself. If it wasn't so serious, it would have been funny as watching her drive off down the road in it. Waaaaay to much power thatn she was ready for!

they got a GREAT pay out and new car by end of week.. i got screwed for near 2 months... but bought my rx7 with the pay out. and then changed my insurance company to the same as his!
and it has taught me to be more aware of others, bit of a 50/50 situation for blame. and im glad i was comprehensively insured!
and thats my rx7 after an altercation with a subaru forrestor....
got a greater apreciation for my car.. tho i dont think they would like it if they knew i raced it out at mallala now

busted the wheel.. the front quarter, suspencion bent like in an elbow steering rods wish bone etc... but bonnet wasnt touched.. and the rim doesnt even have a chip on it ?
lucky i had the stock rims on it and that was 2 weeks befor ei got the rims repolished to close to mirror finish

as for racing its a raod car class i compete in where the rules dont allow full race monourvers into corners etc topreserve the condtion of our cars and porevent incidents
its a great introduction to raceing and also a great chance to get involved and your car out on track

engines fresh only 80-90,000km old. rebuilt before i bought it. so nothing i need to do to that.
i am looking into a heavy duty puck style clucth for more track work. stronger diff and a new gear box as mines getting a bit crunchy on the down changes on the track.. somthing about 8000rpm gear changes....

No they dont, as its generally to restrictive for there movements. Because they are quite often sideways into corners and therefore need to be able to move there heads a fair bit!

this was with an 7yr clean driving record no claims and 7 yrs of membership with them...
so i rang RAA who teh guy who wrote my celica off was insured with...
RAA $570 a yr FULL COMPREHENSIVE..
i will never go back to SGIC again!

this old bloke was reversing in the car after being shopping in our store *bilo* and he reversed INTO a car and then PUSHED that car into a couple of other cars...
HOW he did that at all beats me...
but three people had to go out to see the damage that was done to their poor compact vehicles... and one lady got reversed into the day before!

bent the support framework for the window etc so i gotta go into work tomorow and waste my day off cleaning my car up and straightening it out for a new window on monday/tuesday

well here is a smash 4 ya. shagsalot caled me late/early 1 night from a wild night on the town with the girls quite upset on the phone saying she has just had a car accident. so i jumped in the old suzuki 4X4 2 go see what she had done...........she was driving through north adelaide and @ last minute 1 of her friends said thats where we had 2 turn so she hit the breaks and wrenched on the steering wheel only 2 find out the hard way that when ur wheels r locked up the car dont turn so well, and smashed in to a very high gutter. she had only had the car like a month so wasnt really use 2 it. so i changed the front wheel as she poped it when she hit the gutter,. so i let her drive my 4x4 back home telling her that trs ok 2 hit gutters in my car cus you'll just go over em. she had pushed the front wheel so far back that every time i started 2 slow down or turn right the back of the wheel would rub on the back of the wheel arch splash guard... it was pretty rooted and she was pretty upset....
as u can see i was quite upset...lol...yeah he never let me drive that car but when i smash up my car he threw me the keys...lol...the cappella to this day is a better car.
as 4 myself i only had a small ding. i was reversing out of my driveway @ night and the person accross the atreet had parked their car out the front of their house directly opposite my driveway, it just so happens that their car was in the shadows of trees from the street lights and something further up the street cought my attention and smash. i reversed in to him... so i just pulled back down my driveway and sat in my car 4 a few minutes contemplating how much it was gonna cost me cus i didnt have insurance. any way after a while i went accross the street to tell the owner the bad news. i bent the front right guard. i put a big black skid mark on the bonnet from my spare wheel being a 4X4, smashed the indicator and side light and broke all the clips that hold the front grill on so that was stuffed 2.. $1500 damage... ya know what i did 2 my car...... broke 1 of the globes that lights up the number plate... THATS IT.
good old suzuki. shit i miss that car. i'd love 2 get another 1. so if anyone knows of 1 going cheap. i wanna know about it.

yeah man the huge black base on them solid 2-3 inches thick... hard rubber. must of been some hellish force. the base was still attached to my car when i went out there. .

front end damage hit a van with a towbar at 30km/hr, intercooler actually came off on the towbar of the van!!!! very nasty stuff.
thankfully i wasnt driving so i still havent had an accident thats been my fault (my scorp got rear ended, me doing 20km and slowing her doing 60 and accelerating....
needless to say my neck has never been the same since and it hurt like hell. Never got pics of the car because it was only worth $800, but still.. i bought it immaculate interiour off some grandma with intentions to paint it and sell it. ah well.

nah, back about 4 years now, still kinda laugh at the whole irony and such of the whole situation. best part is these 2 guys, p platers, were out on a cruise the same morning as me and after seeing the aftermath looked worse than i felt, guess it's good to know that more than one person learned from that lil fuck up... sigh... actually the real best part about the whole thing was that, appart from a damn sore neck, i had no other injuries, didn't even get any cuts from putting out the window... ever had one of those moments where it feels like you have been given one last chance?....

i havnt got a piccy online atm, but crashed my XF falcon off a cliff into 3 trees sidewards at 80 plus kph. the car was perfect, 2 grand paint job, new motor, transmision, diff, mag wheels, and replaced interior lol now the entire left hand side of the car is dented up and u can stand where part of the boot should have been. i walked away from the accident without even a scratch, no wiplash or anything, thankfully i was driving a strong heavy car like that. the really embarresing thing about it was the police that came to the accident scene was the one that warned me 10 minutes earlier about talking on the phone and driving at the same time.
the other crash i had which was a classic was i was in the businesses truck, and i drove into a shopping center carpark, i would have cleared the other car, but at the last minute she drove forwards, and the side of trucks tray railing used to tie ropes too, caught her car, and it ripped the bonnet off, and tore right up the side of the car from the quarter panel to half way down the drivers door. bout $2400 damage, luckily after an investigation it was found i was only minorly at fault so had to pay $500 of it with my insuance, funny thing bout it was the only damage to the truck was i had to wash her paint off the railing.
). in the end with buying all the replacement gaskets etc, having the head machined a reasonable amount to raise compression, and a bit of a mild port and polish cost me around $650 with the gaskets i got and brand new head bolts, so if u take out the raising compression and polishing part would be a lot less, the head machining guy quoted me $110. And also u know what gaskets will be used then and that new head bolts are used, quite often a mechanic will use a cheap gasket and ittle be blown in 12 months time. i used a copper and steel gasket should last quite a while hopefully .
