Ok...
During me dismall displeasure in IE6 SP1 i decieded to uninstall it, and re-install it.
Now somehow it effected Outlook Express..

These are the error messages i get..

"Outlook Express could not be started. The Application was unable to open the Outlook Express Message store. Your computer may be out of memory or ur disk is full"

"Outlook Express could not be started beacuse MSOE.dll could not be initalized. Outlook Express may not be installed correctly"

So....Tell me there's an easy solution

PS...Ive tried a google search...nothin helped...
I tried this too.....didnt workSo, Please download the attached zip file containing the "msoe.dll". Save it into your hard drive.

Now, Please unzip the file with WinZip in your hard drive. After that, copy it and paste it in the system directory.

After that, copy it and paste it in the system directory. By default, your system directory is.

C:\Windows\System ( for Windows 95/98/Me),
C:\WINNT\System32 (for Windows NT/2000), or
C:\Windows\System32 ( for Windows XP).

After that, Press Click the Start button and select Run, now type in :

"regsvr32 Path\filename.dll"

as: regsvr32 C:\WINNT\System32\msoe.dll

It said "LoadLibrary ("regsvr32 C:\WINNT\System32\msoe.dll") Failed...A DLL routine initalization falied

don't uninstall IE but reinstall over the top of it or do a repair from within Add/Remove Programs.

that doesnt exactly help him though does it... damage has already been done. when i have problems im unable to fix i always like to resort to a format tongue.gif formats fix everything. plus you get a nice running comp when u done. why would you use outlook express anyway. go Outlook smile.gif

nice suggestion, especially how you forgot or neglected to say to back up all you information. alot of people venture into the world of formatting their hard drives, don't back up anything and then wonder what happened to their important work documents..
