***IMPORTANT UPDATE***
The movie night has been brought forward one week to Friday September 16.

Blow is the story of an infamous drug baron known as George Jung, his lifestyle was one that most people envied, with beautiful women, and enough money to sink a battle ship. Come witness his obsession with greed and his self-inflicted downfall, with Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz in an all-star cast, Blow is not one to be missed.

Once again the anthems crew are pulling out all stops to bring you what you want to see on the big screen for free. Yes that is right on Friday September 16 from 8:30pm at Tonic, 67 Light Square, Adelaide we are screening another classic for your viewing pleasure.

Oldskoolie20 Aug 2005, 12:42am

Johnny Depp rocks

Decepticon20 Aug 2005, 2:16pm

he is a great actor there is no doubt about that and this is a movie i havent seen so i should be there for this one

missvixen20 Aug 2005, 2:34pm

ull love it!!

its based o a true story

i love Johny as well, i think he is one of the best actors of our time. not only is he a spunk but he chooses great quirky movies to take part in and he can act with his eyes.
not alot of guys think he is that good though (well most of the ones i know), most of them think he is too queer or they feel threatend by him or somthing (this could be because all the girls around them are drooling over the screen lol)

Decepticon20 Aug 2005, 2:37pm

nah he is a classic. every character is so diverse. whereas there are quite a few high profile actors that seem to play the same character with a different name every movie they're in!

eskimopie20 Aug 2005, 2:43pm

love, love, love Johnny Depp. Cant wait for Willie Wonka.

missvixen20 Aug 2005, 3:04pm

yea same willie wonka and corpes bride will be really really good...not long now!

Agreed!!!! the new charlie and the chocolate factory with Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka lloks unreal!! I can't wait for it to ome out in the cinema!!!!
I was gonna take my son to see it, but after seeing the shorts, I actually think that it may scare him.... it looks pretty sketchy!!

Blow is one of my favourite movies, and I'm cut that I won't be able to make this one
