Cologne / Perfume - Watcha Got?

hey all,
im runnin low on cologne and tossing up the idea of swtiching smells -
using armani aqua di gio at present, and have had dunhill blue and Hugo Boss inmotion. love my modern fruity stuff.

wats everyone using. recomend etc?
ladies - same goes for u!! love a sexy perfume! kills me..

well i have precious secrets 23 (tommy girl immmitation). i got it for $5 about 2yrs ago and i still have heaps left. it smells really nice. i dont see the point in buying the real thing if i can smell the same and pay 1/10th of the price

I have a few faves which are: Red Door, Samsara, Couture, Hot Couture and Lolita Lempicka - all are very different to each other.

I am a self confessed perfume junkie

I have Babydoll, Lou Lou, Eau Dynamisante (Clarins), Diesel Green female version and Opium - but my two all time favourites are Poison (the original one - best smell in the world) and Obsession by CK....

My boy uses Jean Paul Gaultier, Diesel Green for men, Joop and Aqua Di Gio for men....mmmm, sweet candy

We both fight over the 'females' version of Aqua di Gio too This smells great whoever has it on....

I have Cool Water for girls, a Tommy Girl rip off, and J Lo & Britney Spears sample bottle things that smell alright .... J Lo smells like sunscreen and Britney Spears smells to girlie for me ...

I am a fan of Jazz, and Jean Paul Gartier (I think tats how you spell it ), but i do love Gyvenchy's some chinese name in a oriental red bottle mmmmm

Mine's way strong ... one spray of it and I'm stinking out the whole house for a while ;p

I remember the time where you couldnt go out without everyone having Jazz or Kouros pour homme on. That was a bit of overkill back then & I cant believe it is still being sold.

I have currently got Tuscany, Polo by Ralph Lauren & Romance for men in my bathroom drawer. But my favourite at the moment is definately Opium for men, I think it smells Faaantastic !!!

get ur self one of those old school perfume sprayers (the ones u see in old movies where the women sits there spraying her neck infront of a mirror) from an opshop or something. give it a good clean and put some of ur perfume in it with a bit of water or something so its not as strong.....or just spray it outside

And buph - an atomiser is the little one that you carry with you ... its the size of a tampon and you fill it with your perfume / cologne and re spray it when ur out.

i have one of the perfume spaying thing, my dad got it for me. i love it, but dont use it much..more for display

and a Bvlgari one that i forget the name of.....

oh Angel for men is nice....I have the female version of that and its pretty damn good too....no floral ingredients is the key

A nose sensory = getting work in the morning . . Smelling my co workers scents is just beautiful. . .and I am pretty good these days I am able to tell what that scent is.

It is nearly true the LYNX add....when u smell someone great you want to engulf you whole body within that smell . . . entrapement in the scent . .

I wear Ultraviolet by Pacco Rabane Love it.

If you ever need any top quality perfume or guy scents I can get them really cheap. A friend owns planet perfume and I get most perfumes at well below retail price. For example I used purchase my perfume from a department store for $180 for 100 mls now I get that very same perfume for $68. So if you want anything just email me and I will put you into contact with him. It is all above board and it is the real stuff no imitations.

their great to trial - i recomend ebay or the perfume connection (harbour town) for cheaper smells..

There is a huge Male Cologne sale on at Harris Scarfe this week with fragrances like Chrome going for half price (about $50 i think)!
Chrome is great for guys.
My fav womans is Cool Water which i have at the moment.
Also love Clinique Happy and Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue (a bit to common now though).

Terry White Chemists are also good for fragrances.
I got 100ml Cool Water Woman for $79.00!!!

and just for a change every now and then the Body Shop's Vanilla fragrance.
Don't mind Romance by Ralph Loren either, although it's flowery so only in summer.

The designers and Le Reve purchase the same parfum essence from the perfume houses in france.

Most designers perfume (Eau de Toilette) you can buy in department stores has about 5-10%% of the essence in it, the rest is cosmetic alcohol. The alcohol is what lifts the fragrance off of your skin to create the aroma around you.

However, our parfums have 30-35% of the essence in it, and less of the alcohol. Providing you with a longer lasting subtle scent that will turn heads!

I love perfumes, one for every personality!

I hate all imitations, the top notes are the same but once the smell settles and you hit the middle and the lasting notes, people end up smelling...cheap, you get what you pay for when it comes to french perfumery...

One of my friends is a perfume importer and sells at wholesale prices and can buy you the testers for so much less is not funny, My Burberry 100ml EDP is really expensive in the Dept stores but I got t for $66 coz its the tester and has no pretty packaging...

diesel, only around $1.20 a litre. adds that mechanic smell to your life.

I tell you, i'm a sucker for any guy wearing Yves St Laurent (only i cant remember the exact name of the colone). It's a real sweet smell (probably something more for the "pretty boys"!

Myself, i'm a huge fan of Hypnotic Poison - Christian Dior (especially for the winter, i love the deep cinnimon smells) or Deep Red - Hugo Boss. Then, Musk (boring Avon brand) for summer, especially the Vanilla smells (but not to strong).

Ooohhh.. nice one, i buy that for my partner.. devine! makes me think naughty things.

dunhill blue is a very modern, fruity smell, its hard to describe smells on the internet,
so im trialling a new scratch and smell system, still working out the bugs but try it..

I've got armani mania, armani black, armani white, rochas man, some D&G one and Acqua Di Gio. But I haven't used any of them except Acqua Di Gio in years. I wore it to high school, now to uni and anywhere I go. I feel weird if I'm not wearing it. it's the most common scent but it still turns heads.

As for perfumes, don't wear it anymore but used to love Issey Miyake & Cool Water. I sometimes think it's dangerous to wear perfume/aftershave if you're single - the person you like may have a bad association with it from a previous partner!! Smell arouses such strong emotions in people, I reckon it'd be awful to have someone not like you because you smell like their ex!!! Or worse maybe, like you because you DO smell like their ex

I use something I bought from my sister the Avon Rep, lol, It's called Far Away. I decided awhile ago I wanted to find a scent that defines me (lol lol) and she gave me a bunch of samples and this was the first one I smelt. I instantly fell in love, haha, never bothered testing the others. I usually can't stand perfume, so overpowering.
