Heya Guys.

Just thought i would see which anthems ppl really enjoyed.

I Loved Rave anthems back in 1998 and Old School anthems also in 1998, both were at Heaven.

Was awesome having so many of our crew all attend these events, always made for a special night.

I'm pretty sure I have been to all the anthems over the past 2-3 years (except for any at Heaven) but I have only attended them at the start of the night & have never stayed for the 'big acts ot big tunes'. Generally because anthems events tends to clash with other big nights such as System 6 etc (to which I am forever loyal). This has meant I usually arrive by 12 and leave by 2 (at the latest) which is a real shame because I am a classic for never returning to the original venue and tend to miss out on all the really good, hard anthems I love (as opposed to the cheesy-housey tracks usually played only at the start of the night).

Last years anthems in may was awesome, one standout DJ for the night for me was Brendon, ending his set with loads of ultra sonic tracks. Then i got my breath back only to be taken on another old school journey from Devious. Was also my brothers birthday so it was a well wicked night out for sure.
Then when i left i walked up to the stage while Devious was playing and took the big smiley face that was in front of the DJ.. was fun getting it home in my car im telling ya!!

(paul, im sorry i took it but it looks sick on my wall at home) rolleyes.gif

He tore it up, im quite glad that Brett Witter (i think) didnt end up playing so he didnt have to go b2b.

I was fairly new back then, and kinda trainspotted......
PaulHamonr
Yeah... Brett Witter was stuck in Melbourne... so Devious played out the night!
