Anthems Drinking Teams

The sunshine is on its way (well maybe not today, but soon) and to me this means coming out of hibernation and socialising more. I have been tossing up the idea of an ‘anthems drinking team’....certainly nothing formal or structured by any means, but more of a casual social drinking opportunity on a Friday arvo for anyone interested.

So tonight is the first installment - and I think a few of you are up for it already

Tonight myself and some friends will be drinking on the balcony (and anywhere else we can fit) of the Exeter on Rundle Street from 5.30pm on...all welcome to join in the mayhem...the plan (and it is a very loose one – the best kind) is to then head to Sugar for some dancing action with HMC on the wheels of steel....come along if you are up for it and have nothing better to do, all you need to bring is some cash and a smile, and maybe some dancing shoes The more the merrier!!!!

If anyone has any ideas for further Friday night activities let everyone know...your small group drinking session could turn into a monster party of happy anthemites!!!!

go to work wasted, it's fun why don't we have a phatty drinking comp every1 who wants to enter must suply themselves with 20+ standard drinks and who ever finishes it first wins the pot, the pot consists of an additional bottle from every1 who entered, i am more than keen who is with me

hmmmm, leaving a party at 1:30 am, paying a visit to the fellow staff on duty, hehe, go to bed at 2:30am, start wrk at 8am!! that was okay i guess, sumhow u get mor energy from being tired!...

well, some of the people who are already committed to this shindig have gotta work 2mw too....so no piss weak excuses......'piss on or piss off' will be the motto for the drinkin teams...I like Daana's drinkin pot idea too.... alcoholic mate!!!!

...psytrance.... hehehe man, i can't stand it, i heard it a few times i can only stand it while well...yeh and like i sware to god alot of it has like no rythem, it's so trippy it hurts but it is a unique style i'll give it that...

then rock on to the Exeter....we'll probably still be there around then

yeah, you have to be 'special' to be allowed up there....but I have some special friends

well, red wine and I are no longer friends...we have fought a lot this year, and its finally come to this...I've tried to patch things up a few times, but it always end badly so I give up....apparently there are some sore heads over Teckniques way too.... How is ChrisP feelin....

and thats leaves the question....where will we drink next Friday arvo??? Suggestions anyone....Ray Keith is later in the evening, but where do we start???

much drinkage and merryment! shame i work every saturday at 7:30 so am up at 6:30.. and that ill have to drive to and from these little events... dam it... but ill join in for a social moment or two!

yes, my body told me that i wasn't having any alcohol last night either, in it's own special way

yes, alcohol and I have never been particularly close, and Friday night re-affirmed for me why....damn you demon drink

Stupid woman.....bet she does it on purpose when she knows you have to have him...I bet when she's lookin after him its porridge for breakfast....just feed him a huge block of Cadbury's chocolate an hour before you have to take him back to her...that'll learn her!!!

yeah would love to but....sugars no good for kids. would be doing him a huge injustice also. you know before indigenous people were introduced to sugar there was no sickness. gotta make you think doesnt it?
