Old Game Consoles Wanted

OK ppl.

this is the deal. im after old game consoles. pretty much anything. i have an old origional nintendo (duck hunt and mario is so cool) and i have a playstation and a nintendo 64. i kinda like collecting games and arcade machines so if anyone has any. and are willing 2 part with it, let me know cus im quite possiby interested..

i have a playstation 2...there so much better than nintendo's i have an old game boy...but i dunno where it is i have a sega mega drive with sonic and a sega saturn with die hard um...bout it

and yes i have a police trainer arcade machine and i have a home made arcade machine runnung MAME with like 5000 games on it. i about to build a street fighter machine and a pac man. and then put mame in a table top as i have 2 sitting in the spare room :-)

well man come round and have a play.. lol... all the street fighters. police trainer origional. not transportable @ all. took 3 of us 2 get it in the front door and almost dropped it, & yes. here every BBQ as they r in my lounge :-)

i love amigas man. i had a PIMPED A1200, but hardly ever used it.. took me ages 2 get all of it together 2 man... but i sold it cus i was usin the amiga forever emulator and i had that pimped 2... lol

yeah well in the next 2 weeks ill b making a life size street fighter 2 player. i have a cabinet and an origional street fighter control board with artwork on it... hehe

now i use the xbox instead or the PC.

morpheus, have you done the game traders/cash converters circuit yet? you'd be uber-surprised with how many hidden gems you randomly run into at cashies.

a while ago me and my friends went on an old-skool games tour of adelaide. we went to EVERY cash converters, game traders, pawn shop and assorted gaming shop in the metro area. we even had a map; it was like a treasure map for us! you wouldn't believe half the crap we came home with!

i wanna get my hands on old skool games man. street fighter, sonic. all the old cool shit, and i just like collecting things like that.. i love my arcade machines,

i got to drive a carrier thru the nice rain and hail and get a nice numb face.

we went to cashies and game traders looking for nintendo and they didnt have them, and ppl told us we could buy a crappy old nintendo and it would cost us over 50 dollars for one, luckily a friend of our knew someone who had one stashed in a drawer, we were lucky to get a scope for duck hunt. and we are kinda friends with a dude from game traders, thats how we manager to get a proper nintendo 64 game stand. but it does sound like a good idea, maybe me and morph will get a map of our own together.

yeah im really after some old skool gaming consoles. we have a nintendo entertainment system, super nintendo and a nintendo 64, im running sega emulators on the mame arcade manchine in the lounge but the real thing is always better. so if anyone has any old systems or of anyone has an arcade machine u wanna sell. anything cool like that, im interested...

i havn't been to a garage sale in aaaages, there's heaps around where i live so i should drop round and check them out...

we have people hire trucks or large vans in summer just for garage sales.. theymake a day of it picking up heaps of stuff. always get whacky shitleft in them

well PPL i found something i was looking 4. a sega megadrive with an adaptor to play master system games with it and 2 controllers for just under $100 in game traders. beautiful stuff. i bought summer games 4 it :-) now i got to find sonic.

i should take a pic of my mega drive collection sometime, it's pretty epic. i have all three sonics, mortal kombats and yeah, mj's moonwalker (its so silly, but this is the game i'm most proud to own) and then heaps of other assorted classics.

i've got nothing on my mates' collection of old-skool games tho. he's got just about every major console and a rather sizeable collection for each, including some rare import-only stuff and just about every weird peripheral released. his flat is like a bizarre old-skool library!

yeah thats the kinda library i want 2 have. i just love things lke that. yep i have MJ moonwalker on the arcade machine. how cool is it when he goes >WOOHOO< and spins around, and thats his "special weapon" haha. yeah i have ALL the sonics on arcade 2. and sonic 3d and sonic and knuckles and all them... and mortal kombat 1,2 and 3. i just love it and no matter what i have, i just want MORE MORE MORE

I got a sega master system out in the shed somewhere, gun, 2 controllers and a bucketload of dodgy graphics games.....but sadly i cant part with it... so many memories........and even more frustration since u couldnt save games back in that era

i love my old games i have an old hanimex games console which has the crappiest games on it ever (except pong) then a few years later i bought a sega mega drive and played sonic till my thumbs hurt i loved that game hence my avatar but sorry i love them to much to part with them

i started with the VIC 20... now that was crappy!

Ive got a sega master system with about 50 games, i have the OG nintento and also the Nintento 64. I have got the adaptor so you can play master system games on the mega drive. When i done the hunt around cashies etc... i was paying $2 a game. Check out op shops like port dissposals near woodville road thay normally have a collection and even trash and treasure on sunday mornings. I picked a sega master system and about 8 games for like $15.

Im looking on ebay at the moment, wouldnt mind chasing up the old Amstrad game machine so i can get the old boulderdash game. Am even after a commodore 64. I had a sega dreamcast that was good u used to play copied games no worries. Toki the old arcade game im after also i think it came out on the atari lynx?? not sure. Am looking into that at the moment.
Playstation or xbox should buy out some of the old games and put them onto classics discs. I no i would go out and buy them.

i've got my brother's amiga cd32 with the additional hard drive and floppy drive, so you could attach a keyboard and use it as a comp.. don't know if he'd want to part with it though..

dreamcast is a nice legacy machine..

my friend had a massive collection of old games and systems, but he sold part of it, made about $15 grand and went to london [still there i think!]

well i went to game traders and bought a megadrive and the adaptor 2 play master system games and i paid $100....... but i wanted it so i paid 4 it.. an amiga 32 would b interesting. i had an amiga 1200 and i pimped that out but i sold it a while ago cus i just didnt use it... and as 4 sonic. i have all the sonic games on my arcade machine running on a sega genesis emulator.

and yeah i have a commodore 64. dont know if it works though,, had it given 2 me and just put it away cus i cant remember how 2 use it. lol.

and e-bay is good 4 buying games, but i have noticed that most ppl selling old consoles r selling them as collectors items and actually getting a good price 4 them..

how can I get it to run on my pc?

i can get a C64 emulator, and download C64 roms.. you load the emulator and mount the ROM and seriously you will think ur in front of a C64. you have the blue screen and have 2 type in the commands and everything.. ill see if i can find a site cus im in to emulatiopn and roms..

thats where i have been getting all my sega roms from. b4 u can download a game or rom u have 2 vote on the web site. its simple, but u must do it or the rom/game will b corrupted and not work, if they dont have the game ur looking 4, search google cus im sure it will b around somewhere. this is a list of the emulators they have 2 offer, and i think they have games/roms 4 them all :-) have fun

k i know this is morphs thread, however i am looking for a 'nintendo NES'

i used to hav one as a kid and i loved it but then it broke and my auntie took it....for sum reason which i dont remember, but i think she got it fixed, we got it back from her round the begining of the yr and she says it is working fine, however we gave our controllers to her but she claims we didnt, it was such a long time ago that we are in no position to argue cos neither of us can remember for sure. she also has all our old games, which i can get back from her rather easy. but i am wondering if anyone has an old NES or any controls for it that they would sell for me cheap. i really miss the games, im not a big fan of the new games for PS2 etc, i like the oldschool stuff.

as for NES Zappers, I was *this* close to bringing one along to Harder Tip because I felt I needed a gun of some kind to go with what I was wearing. I was however advised against it because my friend told me the door dudes might be a bit iffy about me bringing a gun in...even if it is BRIGHT ORANGE AND MADE OF PLASTIC!!1

And for emulation enthousiasts, my faves are www.edgeemu.com and www.emuasylum.com. Both are fairly ad free and don't have any silly vote things on them. Only thing is that you have to donate to get the really really big files, but that doesn't phase me as I usually only ever get SNES, Mega Drive or MAME roms.

i have an old playstation console. plus quite a few games... Donkey Kong / Bust A Move and some old copied games (it has a chip so it can play burnt games).

Old School Donkey Kong on super nintendo is the best!

Got a Commadore VIC-20 if you want, has about 8 cart's, tape drive, BASIC tapes & manuals. you'll need to obtain/fix the RF adaptor (the cord to the arial was cut in half)

kriby is by far the greatest nes game ever!!! anyone who thinks otherwise is mistaken..

oh and i think i have a comodore amiga sittin around somewhere...
