What can and can't you take?????

A couple of weeks ago I received something in the mail from enchanted saying that you can't take water into enchanted cos security can't check everyones bottles!!
Fair enough!!!

but can you take an esky??? ice??? cans of coke??? sandwiches??? food???

Does anyone know what you can and cant take in???

as far as i know, there's no bottles of any kind, but you can take the 10l water cask things. you can take eskies but not ice, they say to use those blocks thingies that you can refreeze.. not sure about the food thing, surely they can't stop ya from taking in something to eat tho??

ueah i was curious aswell. as this is a big thing to me. having sustanence availa if needed.. and ntohing beats a few bottles of gatorade the next day to get the fluids pumping!

i bags the first servo on the way home!

the only thing i'm not sure of is the cans of coke...

on hte enchantedforest website it says no bottles, including water... i'm asuming that bottles means cans aswell..

at the winter one they had bottles of powerade available...

also there will be food stalls but i'm not sure what.... hopefully you can still take in food as i wanted to take some fruit with me..

i've asked for confirmation on rave adelaide, so i'll let yas know whats the go

omg i never new there was so much stuff! its not a rave....ita a dam fair!

(this is raving ham) im tossing up the idea of bringing my blades for a skate on the ramp.....but would be blooding annoying carrying thoose bloody bulky things around.

definitely no cans... i think no ice is so that you aren't taking in anything hidden in the ice that you shouldn't be taking in.. hence you can have freezer packs but nothing like loose ice.

food you can take.. it would have to be sealed stuff mostly though (this is usually the rule), obviously fruit is ok and the standard snacks.

All that food they smell there smells yuck and isn't very wholesome!!!!

you should be able to.... they haven't stopped anyone in that past that i know of so you'll be fine...

they aren't so strict on the food thing because not everyone likes to eat greasy yiros or burgers when they get hungry...

I just don't agree with the no cans rule... It's not like you can jimmy it open, slip in alcohol and then reseal a can!!!!
And ice!!! I like ice!!!!

And as far as I know the enlighten guys with Dr aldercott sp have again not been given permission to test, though it didn't stop them last year???
As far as I know there are no penalties as yet for drugs(as its a trial) but I would be very carefull of your condition when leaving

I dont know about the drug driving laws. but i dont think they will be able to rush that throught in time, but i do know that Enlighten will not be there to test as they have been told that arrests will be made this year under the laws.

this law was not inplace during previous events so although it was frowned upon the police never bother to arrest anyone.

you would think that there would be a little more press on the matter, which would be seen as harm miinimisation, as opposed to doing it unannounced, which could only be seen as being entrapment - and coming up to an election, i couldn't see a government copping the wrath of the public (albeit a small percentage) over spinning a web to trap as many people as possible.....remember tho, that all pollies are cunning stunts, who like pulling cunning stunts

so i know we can't take water/ice/cans/bottles and all that bollocks, but does anyone know about camelbaks?

if you don't know - i mean the backpacks with bladders in them and tubes running out the side ...

obviously if it's full it won't be allowed but how about an empty one, which i can then fill inside? have any anthemites taken these to ef before?

tessha and Majic Mark are at my place now doing some last ,minute sewing and stuff. the bus is at my place aswell.. so its just me stuck at work holding us all up!

the police have had the right to do this and have contducted random tests on cars leaving previous raves... my warning to anyone taking anything is that you either need to straighten up and fly right before you leave or you need to be a very good actor!! Also, bear in mind that random searches include vehicles so they do have the right to look through your car... it's nothing new from any other year so it always pays to be careful with such things...

as for sustenance, never fear mayhem crew, stocked up on munchable items today and they will fill the esky for all to enjoy.... mmmm munchies on the way home!!!
