Your Ten Greatest Moments At Enchanted

OK...E8 was my first Summer Enchanted and my second Enchanted (this years winter was my first overall). I was so incredibly amazed and blown away by how great this festival was!!! The people, the location, the acts!!! THE ACTS!! Holy shit, i couldn't dream of much more than Lab4, Kevin NRG, Mark Sherry, Glazby etc...

Since saturday night I havent been able to grasp just how good it was and i want to know other people's feedback on how much they enjoyed it and their 10 greatest moments that THEY experienced at E8!!!

Here are mine....(kinda in order)

1. Seeing Lab4 rocking their fuckin live production!!!!
2. Lab4 opening with Syndicate (i think that's what its called....well whatever they opened with)
3. Making my way to the Big Dog Drum n Bass stage right on time to hear Pendulum's 'Tarantula'....
4. Mark Sherry ripping up OPERATION BLADE!!!! That was insane!!!
5. Seeing the sun rising over the Tidy Stage when Scott Bond was playing...
6. Seeing DJ Bexta again after seeing her for the first time at Winter Enchanted 2005
7. The whole atmosphere of the main stage....the lighting, the fuckin greatness of the stereo....the trippy strobe lights haha
8. Kevin NRG and Sharkey. FULLSTOP!
9. The fact that we were the first public car through the gate haha suckers....
10. Sharkey telling the crowd to 'stay off the fucking juice'....

i completely agree with u there craig... so many good times.. from the minute the mayhem bus picked us up right thru to dropping us off.... all fun, all the time!!

yeah....i know it was fucking sweet from start to finish....but come on - there had to be some TOP moments that just made your night insane...

The whole night was friggin tops but some of my highlights were Bexta playing Skydive and dancing and singing my arse off with Meika and having my photo taken with Maestro D and Dr David Calidicott! Very cool!

the whole thing was top.. sorry matey, just too hard to pin down 10 moments that were better than any other moments.... didn't have a down time all night, people were awesome, music was awesome,... loved it all!

To tell you the truth it was a good night but some reason i thought they went a bit cheaper than the size of last years event. I just thought it seemed alot smaller. I got to give credit for the parking this year, because last year it was hell hard to find my car but this year it was very east :-). Im not saying i didnt enjoy enchanted because i do every year but for some reason i didnt crank like other years. Might be coz i was looking after my mate for a few hours and then i got lost and pretty much just started walking around everywhere on missions (weird heeh.

it's hard to pinpoint any one thing specifically... one thing that comes to mind was Scott Bond playing Seven Cities by Solar Stone & i started tingling that much that i cldn't move

or EF'99 when i had a glow in the dark black tshirt with an alien on it & cos i was walking thru some trees scared the complete shit outta some ppl sitting down cos all they cld see was a glowing & floating alien coming towards them...i can still remember the looks on their faces

or EF'01 when Mr S let fly in the morning & i just lost complete control & was going nuts & i looked up & he had the biggest fkn smile on his face & was pointing & clapping at me.. it took me to another level & made me go even harder! If any1 can remember a shaved head punk in a blue tracksuit zipped right up sweating like a madman losing his shite on the dancefloor-twas me

shit! i cld go on all day...all these memories are flooding back to me now...
but i dont wann bore u all! but i have to agree with mcfinal, it did seem alot smaller & i cldnt help but think it didnt crank as much as other years...dunno...
either way the night was what u made of it & we all had our cranking moments! its just hard to pinpoint & um erm, remember them

maybe our expectations of enchanted just grow so much every year because they keep puttin on Good show after show... that every time we go there our memories expect more than last time therefore it seems like less...

As this was my first enchanted, and for me it kicked serious arse, i find it hard to believe that previous shows were much better! I think ppl who have gone year after year, just keep expecting more...
So i make sense or am i ramblind?!?

i agree with ya there nokturnl, once you ahve seen an event you want to go back and see it at least as good as before, if not better.

but for me the highlight was the people there, and there were at least 10 i was happy to see

bexta always rocks, and all the music was at least good, if not great.

Alrighty then..... Ten kick-ass moments in my personal Enchanted History in no particular order...

(ftr, I've only been to E7 and E8!)

- The badger, mushroom and SNAAAAAAAAAKE, SNAAAAAAAAKE OH, IT'S A SNAKE (e7)

- Seeing the stages from far back on Pt Gawler Rd, sends chills down ya spine! (e7 & 8)

- LAB-FREAKIN-4!!!!!!1 Simply fucking bananas! (e8)

- Having my first *ever*...err..."enlightened" conversation with a close friend on a concrete block out near where the cops and SaM set themselves up (e7)

- Returning one year later to the exact same spot and paying my respects...I got all emotional too, haha! (e8)

- Watching the sun rise over the stages and reflecting on a totally MAD nite! (7 & 8)

- I think someone else also had the *exact* same moment, but walking past dnb stage just in time to hear Tarantula by Pendulum...and then going unbelieveably crazy-go-nuts! (e8)

- DJ HIXXY AND SCOTT BROWN!!1 (e8)

- My random wanders this year! They included stop overs at the markets to buy all kinds of weird and fun toys and a spray on tattoo (which didn't even survive until the next day because I was sweating so much!) Oh, and I stopped at some point to play my gameboy by the dnb stage, haha! (e8)

- Being completely and utterly entranced by the dancers doing their thing two metres above the main stage, and then at one sudden moment I rise to my feet and scream to the crowd, "THIS TIME NEXT YEAR I WANT TO BE DOING THAT!!1" (Close, but no bananas. )

I think that's more than 10, but if I don't stop now I'll be here for days!

It was by pure luck that I got to hear 'Tarantula'..... Just happened to be going for a little walksie around and as soon as I heard it I ran to the dance floor and danced so hard......

Was a f**ken awesome night!!!!!! I LOVE ENCHANTED!!!!!!!!

ha ha! i thought it might've just been me who just HAPPENED to randomly walk down that dusty mound (which, might i ad i almost fell down in front of cops, then got a compliment from them about the amount of glowsticks i had on my arms ) and walk to the dnb stage to check it out...only to hear tarantula start!!

MY MIND WENT CRAZY, and so did my legs....

word!!! I LOVE ENCHANTED AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I JUST WANT TO RELIVE THAT SHIT RIGHT NOW!!!!

9 of them were when I kept making eye contact with the hottie below

the last one was when I thought I saw the Hoff going off near the Tidy stage

I really can't think of an actual #1 moment, the whole night was #1

i could prolly name bout 10 bad things bout enchanted
but the rest of it was fairly tops
it was my first enchanted and i really enjoyed it, but there was alot of potential so i cant complain, i only hope that it will be better next year

hahahahaaaaaa....funny stuff fulrum....I think that damn song willl now be in my head for the rest of tonight at least

- Getting ready at DeL's place and him walking in and i'm sewing reflectory bits on my pants
- Meeting all you guys
- Bus ride there (Mayhem Madness!)
- Macca's on the way...all those weird people looking at us!
- Bexta...
- Kevin Energy and Sharkey...
- Lab muther-fucking 4...they were my suprise package for the night...blew me away
- Sun coming up...awwww purdy
- Our fully wicked sick mate Blue Neon fitted munt bus!
- Loads more....too much to think of now

this was my first time to enchanted as well and i thought it was so f@%king good i cant wait to next time. JUst being there was top 10 for me. How good was Bexta she went off ive never jumped around so much in my life. Hope everyones going to point one on new years eve it will be awesome cant wait cya all there...........Bladerunner

Falling asleep in the car while waiting for Captain Tinrib then missing his set (EF6)
All the boob groping between Bexta/Amber D/Tara Reynolds and Tracy, not sure if Cheeky b was involved too, off the side of the Tidy Stage (EF8)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (EF6/8)
Solar Stone - Solarcoater (EF6)
Devious vs Ignition Technician, Techno set of the Year!!! was great coz i missed Ignition Technician earlier, Ribbz MCing it was great too.
Jeff Mills - The Bells (EF8) been hoping for like forever to hear it out.
Mark Sherry jumping off the stage then telling me he wont do that again coz he hurt his leg (EF8)

Agreed! my first Summer Enchanted, and althought it wasn't as good as everyone hyped it up to be, i will be there next year!.

Tho 1 of the Best moments for me was going off to Mickey Finn! (actually, i think that is the only part of E8 i can truely remember!!)

1. Seeing Lab4 along side my Bro
2. Lab4 takin my Disco Bici's to an absolutly prodigal high
3. Breakin out at the Big Dog Drum n Bass stage with Pendulum
4. Mark Sherry ripping up OPERATION BLADE!!!! That was insane!!!
5. Seeing the sun rise
