Anthemite 'Be a Beach' Day
Alright, well this is basically A&B's Run Amuck Rev. 2.
When:
-Sunday 12th March
Time:
-12PM - Close
Where:
Sempaphore (near the Jetty, for ease of meeting up)
Other:
-BYO
-Kids welcome
-Pleaseeeee remember to bring sunscreen!!! (I will make sure i take some just in case) we dont want any BBQ anthemites!
-Sporting equiptment... preferably cricket stuff
but theres always soccer, football, my Boule set that ive never used, etc.
We are looking to get a whole group of us to head down the beach, relax and entertain eachother in a non 'doof doof siren beep beep bop' atmosphere.
Reason we have chosen to avoid Glenelg is, 1.. parking... and 2.. dry zone (and we simply cant have that!)
The benefit of Semaphore is there is food in close proximity, theres that train that gets in the way of the car park (apparently you can ride it too. but me being a car person... its just something else i have to stop for
), and theres ample parking, as opposed to Henley Beach and Glenelg at 12PM on a Sunday.
So come, kick back.. have fun, enjoy Anthemite 'Be a Beach' Day
Now for directions for the unfortunate people who have never been to this lovely beach, or have a bad memory like myself.
Now using Grand Junction road as a starting point;
Head beach direction along grand junction road (or up Port road/Old Port road, same
difference), they meet up and turn into Bower Rd, follow Bower Rd all the way up past the round about which after that point does a right turn and like any decent beach.. it becomes ..
Esplanade! then you will see a carpark to the left, with the little train tracks.
I park in that bit, near the Delicatessen, feel free to park elsewhere if you please, Its just a big carpark, so its quite hard to miss.
I would also like to express my apology for posting a mature post.. but I wanted it to be easy to read
LIST FOR LUNCH @ PALAIS

prices arent too bad for semaphore.. its sorta gone abit upper class in recent years
