well how many gigs a month do you download??



since i broke my usage for the first time a phat 53gb

im on a 5 gig plan

Adam ADSL2+
5 gig, 5 gig pipe access
$35 a month


first month i scored 23gig in peak usage ;)

since then i havent really over done it as i hardly down load..


thats one hell or a Pr0n collection u got there foonji ;)

lmao, you won't find one bit of pr0n on my computer.

93gig in the first month of 1.5mb dsl shared between 2 leechers is my record :P ... then the bastards stopped the plan after 6 months. (shapping relative to other users. only shapped if in the top 5% of users)

60-70 was our standard.

now im on dsl2 40 gig cap on external data. + 40gig internal.. need more internal mirrors damn it... cant someone start a warz0r ftp on adam? please ill give u five bucks!

I'm on a 10 GB Telslut cable plan. Normally go over it in the first few days of the new month, but due to being capped to 64/64 over the last few months- HATING IT! I'm being good this month and only just reached 8Gb last week. :D

hehe, yeh, my plan is supposed to be throttled once i go over, but the ISP doesn't actually carry it out :D

Ah I'm so glad to hear that :P I got adsl and meant to get speed reduction after 10gig... First month I got about 30gig... Now sitting on an average of about 40gig per month... Great to hear there's others worse than me out there! Now I can continue downloading with pleasure :D

Mine's 512/128, 40 gig limit.

After 40 gig I get shaped back to "true 56k speed" .. which is actually faster than a 56k modem anyway, so it's not too bad.

Either way I sit on about 35gig per month on average. I've only gone over the 40 gig limit 3 times in the past year or so.

mine's Extreme : 1500-24000 Kbits/sec, 20 Gig a month, I always go over though

adsl2, 20gig... included free line rental and 4 port wireless modem... :)

been doing about 50gig per month... ;) out of an 80 quota

Never gone over, always monitor my activity and on the last day I go nuts downloading shit!

Am only on dial up but d/l a shitload.

who can tell in this world of dreams how much I use...my resident pc geek lets me know when I'm spiralling out of control though :P

I'm on dial-up at the moment... I'm sick of getting bumped off and would love to get broadband... maybe adsl2+, anything from 20-40gig limit... what's the best plans going these days?? I've heard Momentum has good plans, anybody with them??

iPrimus isn't too bad I think, used to be with them, am with Optus now though (even cheaper).

im on the telstra 10gig plan also and yeah its expensive but its cable so i dont get any phone line charges and i can make phone calls for free using VOIP. i usually use the gig limit easily. did it in three days last month, and ended up getting 26 gig down overall. but the shaping wasnt very nice. especially when emule is running in the background. tends to slow thnigs down A LOT. main reason i got it was for movies and such anyhow, but its just a pain in the arse when you actually want to do some surfing and you gotta wait for pages to load.

Depends if you choose a home phone and internet package which is what I use...

i dont know exactly what kind of connection we have here at the townhouse im living in here in canada but some of my downloads are coming in at over 600kbps.

probably do 30-40 gigs a month. been downloading alot of episodes of Lost & Battlestar Galactica.

I get upto 750KBps on my connection

Adam internet seem to be alright...

dont go with Telstra, iPrimus, Optus, KERN! omg so dont connect with them!!!

im up as high as 850-950kbps on adsl 2 thru adam. it does me fine

im wiv telstra an for 39 a month i get unlimited downloads an use about 10 -25 gig a month

telstra 256, i get shaped after 8gb, im currently at 14gb and have anothe week to go
