Ok, first some info to get you started and upta scratch.
So where are the future of Visual leading in the Australian Rave Community?
Its a fairly unrecognized thing currently in Australia, most ppl i can say to them i'll be VJ'ing and they'll look at me and ask me "wat? are you a DJ now?", In UK, Europe and America it is grasping hold and slowly moving more and more towards a known and wanted thing at parties, and common VJ names becoming known, day by day, party after party...
so where to break into the aussie scene? there are now a few known VJs operating in the eastern states, but what about SA, our home state?? apart from me doing it here and there atm (until i can afford my own equipment and hit hard into various other venues on a more regular basis) who is there to bring us the vision to go with the music?? sure novatech does it at 99% of parties they setup at, but i wouldn't call them VJs... more like a bunch of dudes sitting around some expensive equipment just playing videos and drinkin beer (no offence to any of the novatech guys, met a few of you and you are good guys) and not actually mixing much video to the music...
Where do you, as punters want to see this go?? wat are your opinions on this growing evolution?
I am sure up for this evolution and taking every step in taking it to the next level.

VJ or veejay (from Video Jockey, by analogy with disc jockey or DJ or "deejay") is a term coined in the early 1980s to describe the fresh faced youth who introduced the music videos on MTV and MuchMusic. The word VJ is also used to represent video performance artists who create live visuals on all kind of music.
Live visual artists
Although less known by mainstream America, the word VJ is also used to represent video performance artists who create live visuals on all kind of music. It originates from a parallel with DJs, although most VJs nowadays have more to do with musicians than with DJs. Often using an analog vision mixer, VJs blend and superimpose various inputs over clips. In recent years, musical instrument makers have begun to make specialty equipment for VJing. The evolution of computers has allowed for VJ-specific programs to be produced and has allowed for easier accessibility to the art form.
