One thing Paul is ensuring with giving out this many tikets is that he is sure to pull a huge crowd. On top of the people that will still but tickets, man this will be packed - that means lots of sweaty ravers at 5am (or earlier in some cases).

Good news, drinks will be the same price as any other show at St Pauls, as the venue controls the bar and not us.

How do we do it? Simple.....to launch the new website we could have spent thousands on advertising. Instead we're just giving away a few hundred free tickets, and I just know you will all tell your friends about anthems. You guys are the best sort of advertising we have, and we love you for it

From all of us at team anthems.....we can't wait to see you and your friends there

If i dont see ya all there i hope it goes off..

I have never posted on a forum before so this will probably not work, but I'm doing this in the hope that I can win my little brother a ticket to Queen's Bday anthems.

mr hamon i would love a free tix!

worked a charm there is the first time for everything... stay around and get invovled

Paul, she was polite and addressed you properly

Bring Back C4

Hello everyone...
I'm new to anthems and new to this whole posting thing.
A friend from work, her name is kandii on here, told me I have to come to anthems on hte june long weekend, and when she told me if I became a member I'd go into the draw to win a ticket I thought, cool I hope I win!! Now that I'm on here and realise your giving away 5 tickets a day, my chances are pretty good I think! You really are generous anthems crew!

I've never been to an anthems, but Em just won't shut up about it, she's heaps excited... so now I'm getting excited I think its gonna be a really good night! I can't wait.

wahoo im there i hope

you seemed to have worked it out, aok...

I am new to Adelaide and havent had a chance to have a good night out yet. A free tik would def make it a great night on the 12th!

where are you from?

You're right, some more candy colours would be great - I'll be there in my cat ears and gaters... GET IN THE SPIRIT PEOPLES!!!

Good work

There is a huge team of people behind this anthems show, headed up by mr anthems himself Paul......and the amount of effort going into this show has to be seen to be believed. Sound, lighting, decor, DJs and atmosphere, it's all getting a huge boost, so to see everyone making an effort, getting dressed up and into the spirit will make this night magic.....I just can't wait

what if the party is too good?

can you overdose on fun

I think the only concern is having such a high standard to live up to for any future parties!

bingo.. we have a winner

Thats one limit i am ready to push!

Can't wait to go will have a blast !!!
Can't say no to a free ticket

This is my first post on a forum. Hope it makes it ok!

Cya!

wasn't that hard... so now you're over the threshold... go crazy!

Jeez we're getting a few "forum" virgins, aren't we??? Yay to all the newbies!!!

haven't been to one of these for a while... can't wait for june 12!!

I'm getting a bit worried that im not going to be able to take my best friend to anthems for her Birthday this year.
I dont excpect to get anything for free but if i won free tix it would be awesome and my friend and i would be going crazy all night long on the night, we havent been able to go to anthems for sooooo long, we have some serious making up for lost time to do.
If i do manage to go i hope i can meet some of you there. )

my mother always told me that the good things in life were free...

now i might finally believe her!

bring on the free tix...

and bring on anthems

yeah, mine always said that 2, but i still dont believe her...

but hey, maybe anthems will finally be able 2 convince me...

i guess i just gotta i start posting...

Simply by posting each day, you go into the draw for free tickets....can't get much easier than that

you have more chance of winning here than you have in the lottery <-- how can that smilie be a blink? weird eyes

Jim you're a very sexy lady?

I can't wait for anthems 05!

be bad, be very bad
R

I do believe we are severely spoilt to be able to enjoy these parties as often as we do. For some, like myself, the music takes me back to the friends I knew and venues I used to dance to these tracks at while for others, it is all new again.

I love my old skool!!!!

Nothing beats sitting ouside a rundle st cafe on a warm night deep in discussion about what life would be like living in a self sufficient village.

this has no significance to anyone except the curator. And is my lame attempt at a chance for a ticket.

and it may pay off.. welcome to the forum..

Never been to st.pauls myself... and i live less than 2 minutes walk from it... how much do I suck, hey?

good morning sir,

and i do remember it...
was thinking about it just the other day actually...

PaulHamon

old skool jungle... mmm i can feel some craziness coming on as some juicy beats get pulled out

look fwd to the chance to warm up and what seems like a fairly quiet winter.....

Well, here I am... finally, no longer an online anthems virgin. 'Tis such a joy to be a part of the Old School anthems - Queens Birthday 2005 hype... and such a generous and kind offer, on your part, to offer so many complimentary tickets. Good on ya, dude. Sure to be an awesome show... Cheerio, Happy Moe =)

Hi! Just signed up today in the hope of getting a free ticket... I'm goin to anthems anyway but just thought I'd try my luck!

Should be a wicked nite

welcome everyone

Hi Guys and Girls!!!!
I am counting down the days till Old School anthems!!! Just hoping the fact that i am travelling 1200 k's to be there and paid shit loads for my airfares might pull on the old heart strings !?!? Maybe....

I've never been to St Pauls but am so excited - ANTHEMS sounds killer and having not had a big night since joining the real world of paid work, I sooo NEED a night like this - Woo hoo!!!

Tcikets are given away randomly, but you've already done the right thing by posting a msg

Hope to see all of you there on the night, and just in case this is the last rave at St Pauls, lets make it the biggest ever and send the old place off in style!

So if the ticket winners are chosen randomly, all we have to write is:

dsfjhwilgy woyt qo;wygoe;ryg qoey yaweo;y

to be in the running? Cool....

Cheers

pretty much the objective was to get people to participate and that's what's been happening!

alot of poeple have come and got involved... all it takes is a first post...

Yeah, you could cheat the system and post garbage, but everyone else will read it, and I'm sure they'd rather hear what you've actually got to say

I can't wait!

I would soooo love to go to anthems! im still an anthems virgin and i think this year is the year for me. so can i please have a free ticket, pretty please with sugar on top.

Good luck to you all in this last week of free tickets

For those that aren't so lucky, after this week there will only be 1 more week of cheap tickets from the anthems online store...after that it's full price!

Whether you win a ticket, grab an early bird or snap one up on the door, we can't wait to see each and every one of you there. Come say hello...we'll be front and centre

Not long now. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!

OMG what am i gonna wear. HAHA good excuse to go shopping!!

I love being female.

This one could be my last for a while so im gonna make the most of it.

See you all there and have a wicked time

Less than 3 weeks to go now! I have no idea what I'm wearing but it won't invlove heels! Hehe made that mistake seeing DJ Josh and I couldn't walk for a week

Can't wait for this! This will be my first ever anthems... and definately not my last!

Until next time,

Danni xx

Being an anthems virgin, I'm freaking out about what to wear
I'd love some advice, and to just generally hear about everyone's fashion of choice.

excitement is building...

Don't worry about what to wear... everyone will be wearing whatever they want. I mean you could get dressed up in some fluffy fluoro-coloured rave gear but if not, just wear whatever you'd wear to any other club or event!

I don't think the people there will be too judgemental... they'll be in their own little happy place if you know what I mean

So just wear whatever turns you on! Hehe... if you're planning to dance heaps, I wouldn't wear pants/jeans or heels though... you get really hot and your feet will cane

i dont want to be an anthems virgin anymore, i want to be an anthems whore, can u help me get through the door, so i can go hard on the dance floor, so am i worthy of a free tix, or do i sit at home and play with my glow stick.

HAHA! I think i can even remember the drinks we had. Black sambucca, and naturally Jim Beam in a tall glass for me thx.

Im still hunting high and low for the smilie zippo i once had too... Do you remember that aswell?

Thanx for the ticket Paul!! Im there!!

I want a ticket! argh! pleeease!

If you don't win one this week, better head to the anthems online shop and buy one while they are still cheap

hey! how do i win a ticket?? just by chattin on here??
i can do that.. easy
and by the way.... can i please have a ticket!

shake it once thats fine
shake it twice thats okay
shake it three times your playing with yourself again
what i'm saying is this is the athem throw all your hands up
you all got to feel me sing if your with me

pweeeeeeze be so gracious as to throw a freebie my way!! my friends want me to go with them and my world has been void of anthems for so long *sobs*

hehe

The giving away of tickets is a completely random function taken care of by the anthems Supercomputer (a 1984 Commodore 64 with tape drive)

/me chants go c64, go c64...

Just keep posting and ya never know

Woo Hoo! St.Pauls, YEAH!!

It will rock!!

Tonnes excited

:lol; I had a 128b instead of a 64

this is a real good idea 4 advertising anthems, although i must admit i do get exited when i a letter in the mail with my favourite smiley face on it

twas good 2 get a letter 4 a change that wasnt a bill.......

Pllllleeeeeeeeeease can I have a ticket?

I'll wear a lamp shade on my head if I have to...

C'mon.. I'll do anything

hehehe

The best things in life are free, but you can keep them for the birds and the bees i want tickets , yeah thats what i want. ive bought 4 allready but be great to bring some more friends along as its gonna be one wicked night ill bet!!!!!!!

*Baits hook with a virgin anthems goer and tosses it into the pool hoping to catch a ticket*

My friend won a ticket the first day she signed up!
I'm so jealous. I want a ticket.
Are winners decided completely randomly? How else can I win?

**steals the bait off the hook, hoping 2 catch a ticket also

I can not wait for anthems!!!! I absolutly love oldschool!!! Hopefully my name will be on here soon!!!!

yeah, a couple of my friends won the first day they signed up as well! the rest of them have all won since...i guess im the unlucky one!

i'll just have to go buy a ticket, but i'll never hear the end of it from the crew, coz they all won so easily! maybe it would be easier not to go...

NOT LIKELY!

c u all there...YAY!!!!

hehe...its nearly as old as me...

dont worry mr happy
we all love ya

anthems gr8! 3 rooms! please please can i have a ticket ????? cos i have yet to experience the atmospere of anthems!!!!!!!!! & mostly my favorite DJs are there!

Not a single bite yet *checks hook and notices bait has gone im sure i put a anthems virgin on there well maybe i can find some bait around here somewhere tries a pair of crazy ems g strings, that should get a bite i rekon

*Kicks back on bank and puts rod in holder and starts playin all his tunes that just might get a airing anthems style @ St Pauls soon and day dreams of the good times to be had*

*i rock up on the bank with a couple of rods too, hoping to catch a anthems ticket , but all im catching is a cold*

Well pull up a spot matey, what you usein for bait there, i got a pair of ems undies here, rekon im in with a chance , she can keep the anthems virgin as it would be soggy by now and not likely to attract a finiky anthems ticket. Do you wanna join me for a beverage.

*cough.. ticket... cough*

mmm... bait, wat to use? maybe sum old skool music might bring the ticket this way ,sure ill join ya for a drink just let me pull out my stubbie holder

HMMMMM whats this thing made of foam, i saw an esky made out of this stuff at the department store the other day, damn new fangled inventions , what will they think of next

lmao, im so desperate to go to anthems ill make a swap for a ticket

very unlike you to be desperate, dont worry if you dont get a ticket as a girlfriend of mine rekons she used to get into St Pauls free all the time by doing favours for the door bitches, well it worked for her

no no no, mmm...... well i did say i was desperate lol maybe i should just borrow the money from me reliable mum to go buy a ticket

So are you saying you would swap ya mum for a ticket? sounds like a good deal to me

r u crazy, u actually think me mums worth a ticket ill swap anytime

na just jokin i cant swap me mum for a ticket, shes worth more than that too me, how bout 2 tickets so i can take a mate lol

yer i rekon id even part with a coupla tickets for her

done deal ill bring her up in 10 lol but i need her back 0nce a week to do the shopping

thanks mate , recieved the goods in good condition, she wants to know if that means you will make your own lunches every day or does she have to make them and freeze them on her one day home a week.?

lol tell her to make them each nite and ill drive past in the morning and pick it up, or she can just leave me a large amount of lunch money

errr, just so you know, the door bitch at anthems will be the lovely Michaela....Paul's other half

think u just dug a hole hehe

Cant wait for anthems! no much longer now!!! cant wait to bust a move

Me thinks they might not get in

Just wanted to say a hi, and the site looks great.

not long now to anthems! just long enough to figure out what to wear....

Yipee another anthems Party, can't wait. Party party time with all my groovy friends.

All i need is a miracle all i need is you.....doo dee dooo dee doo

Well i would be mighty disappointed should i not be allowed in after buying 4 tickets and waiting so long for the night to come around, i would most certainly cry and blubber and that would bring the whole night down for me and my friends. Door bitches is a reference to male bouncers that wont let you in because you have the wrong shoes (eg too many guys in there allready).

People that come with a healthy attitude will be allowed in in my book it's about the person not the clothes!

BTW in the industry 'door bitch' is the chick taking the cash and 'getting in' means finding away to convince her you should NOT have to pay and don't need a ticket... I'm sure that's what Dav and Buph are talking about...

Just a little difference of definition me thinks.

I love anthems! i have been nearly evey year. cant wait for this one, they only get better!

I'm so excited about anthems. This will be my first official rave. And what better way to do it then with old school tunes!

If this is your first its gonna ba party to remeber

First official rave......wishful sigh. now theres a memory worth having. now if i could only get rid of that one with the man with his head up an elephants butt...........

man, free tix would be awesome!

can't wait for the long weekend. it's gonna be HUUUUUUUUUGE!!!!

Really cant wait..... OLD SCHOOL anthems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoping to hear some REACT tracks at anthems . . .

Will be the first time since 1986 . . . say . .. ! G.T.O. The Frog Song(?) !

hehehe...i dont think they'll do you any good- u shoulda grabbed the clean ones from the clothes line (hmmm, u been smoking too many escort greens again?)

hey,the anthems virgin doesnt seem to be working either, where did u pik her up from? i think she lied bout the halo shining brightly, it looks more like a piece of fake gold ankle jewellery

**i finally realise why the tix r staying away...not my unlucky streak, but the stinky anthems 'virgin'

takes the bait off the hook...

now, lets try again
