Raverish Type Dvd's To Watch

Ok guys and gals, was wondering what you all have at home to watch at those time's your home and feeling a bit 'special'?

I've got the obligatory big beach critique 2, enchanted 02, Underworld (everything everything), and other not so great stuff, but am starting to tire of them

I've been out and bought some others lately but its either doco sort of stuff (delta heavy) or complete crap

I know that 'Yancy' did enchanted 02 and has done some work for some of the events in tha past but have had no luck finding any!

Any suggestions to whats around would be great

Transmission 04

Human Traffic, Fear and Loathing, Go and Groove.

Love watching before or after a rave

X-Trax - look them up

Trainspotting is kewl

it is foonji....but not really the best movie to watch during that period of time LOL

Labyrinth
Neverending story
The lion witch and the wardrobe
The Wizard of Oz

Oi that movie is the bomb

Sorry, X-MIX (Its been a while)

slightly off topic: if anyone has labyrinth.....can i watch it pleeeeease...i have been dying to watch it!!!! i have been deprived and never seen it *crys* but i hear it rocks!!

well i don't have to worry about that do i

play alice in wonderland with no sound and dark side of the moon by pink floid... start the cd at the end of the opening credits
too close to be coincidence

for something a little more chilled
DJ shadow - in tune and on time

I like my Night at the Roxbury movie!! Great before i go out, gets me all happy n stuff!! (altho, note it's not rave, it's 90's club movie)

The first movie which you should watch is Better Living Through Circuitry. It's a documentary on rave cultrure in the US. Has some great music, good interviews and a very good insight into raves themselves...

Yes, and Human Traffic is my fave 'before a party' movie.

yeah someone told me about the pink floyd dsom alice in wonderland thing. very wierd.

night at the roxbury!! "WHAT IS LOVE? BABY DONT HURT ME NO MORE"

human traffic the bit where the news reporter goes nuts always gets me pumped for going out.

and finally the original MORTAL KOMBAT is crazy to watch before going out. gets me pumped, makes me wanna go out and beat the crap out of someone lol. love the theme song too. classic.

Your right... The sort of thing you SHOULD be watching when u get home in an alternate state is SALAD FINGERS from www.Fat-Pie.com.

I like ruuusstty spoooonss...

Oh man, i love that movie, i like human traffic before a rave too. My ultimate after rave thing is a series called galaxy angles... weird, funny anime

I'll also add my vote for Human Traffic as the all-time best ever rave movie

Zoolander was highly amusing after Ultraworld a couple of weeks back. A certain couple of music DVD's also rock, great music plus visuals to keep you entertained - Underworld's Everything, Everything, Paul Van Dyk's latest one (can't remember the name) and Fat Boy Slim's Big Beach Boutique (which has particularly special memories, cos I was there!!)

LOL

YEAH I LOVE MOVIES THAT MAKE ME WANT TO PUNCH ON

X-MIX animation... it get in your head. unreal. cant describe it when your in the right state.

a trip to caltex before viewing this is a must.

X-MIX is the ultimate - leave it on in the background at parties

*deap breath*

My Dad is american so she was my fave cartoon as a kid! i still have a sprite that i sleep with.. got to show Dalbz all the rainbow brite stuff at my parents house last thursday was so exciting...

Double thumbs up to Human Traffic as best EVA rave movie! Go is phuken wicked too!
I'm a fan of Anime also at these times..the Evangelion series is mind blowing..same as Vampire Hunter D
Another fave of mine is Tiesto in Concert 2004 & for a more laid back approach Faithless Live At Alexandra Palace
Underworld: Everything, Everything & Live At Belfort Park (Harley haven't forgotten about ur copy...just cant find the vid!? my sis borrowed it & its M.I.A )
& for the ultimate (IMO) non movie is Decade of Dance - a wicked DVD produced by the future entertaiment crew. WICKED rave clips from dockland & tennis centre etc. Its all entirely shot in melbourne & has fkn smashingly stomping tunes on it! Gives me tingles even when im not 'special' check this out for a track listing-all superbly mixed by Mark James:

Bill Hicks
Bill Hicks
Bill Hicks

before, during and after

Human traffic is dope, the comedian who chip listens to before haeding out is master Hicks, i love his shit.

Bill Hicks - Revelations
Bill Hicks - Relentless
Bill Hicks - Sane Man
Eddie Murphy - Raw
Eddie Murphy - Delirious
Robin Williams - Live at the Met - you have to be over 25 to get some of the jokes but the rest is a total cack!

Futurama can be good if in the right mood and i also recommend Ghost In The Shell...

enjoy

we finally have a printer/ scanner, now i just need to scan the visa card etc and i can get my rainbow brite DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IM SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!

err scan the visa card :S

sounds dodgy...

I have labrynth... ill see if i can burn ya a copy...

Human traffic is good.

I also got LiquidCrystalVision which is the most tripped out one I've ever seen. Full-on tripped out and psychedelic; with fractals and whatnot. They got videos of the original raves in Goa, etc. Its pretty much a doco-cum-movie.

Also have Reefer Madness the Musical (2005 version). The original version was produced by the yanks to discourage people from using marijuana but this version is better. Its pretty much become a cult phenomenon.

if somebody wants...I can give you a link to some more avi & mpg downloads. Except they have drug references. Heaps of Timothy Leary stuff, etc. Just PM and I'll send you the link.
