If ya manage to read all this let me know ya thoughts, i generally have interesting s**t running through my mind so i decided to document it. I'd appreciate absolutly anything, and please don't delete this, there's alot more meaningless shit on the forums! Thank You

I've had new thoughts on religion, basically i've probably posted it but what harm? NO HARM!! First and formost i refuse to believe my cats despite the fact that they're more loving and empathic than alot of humans i know, were denied a soul at creation due to their inferiority, however does not question their ability to love and feel. A large percentage of the human geneome is still unmapped and believed to be the characteristics of the soul, indeed an animals genetic structure is different, however animals also have the same unmapped territory as humans. With the lack of technology to look into this part of the genome, clearly as humans have the EXACT same genealogical unmapped territory due to technological inability, even though unknown, there are massive simmilarities between the human and animal unknown (genetic characteristics of the soul) and due to these biotechnological similarities it should be seen as blatantly obvious to even the more dull witted indervidual, unless that indervidual's mind is clouded with blind hope or "religion" i have looked into it a fair bit, and there are two religions which i looked into that i belive are superiour, Buddhism and Shinto. Although having their floors including female rights in physical life, both work in harmony, with Giah and belive all are created equal, and all followers of the faith treat everyone as equals, unlike christianity which is said that all men are created equal yet "ye shall be judged" a judgment, in which to seperate the good from the bad, to create a superior race for the after life, hitler tried to create a superior race. If man is created equal man shall remain equal, maybe not intellectually and physically, but the soul is created equal, why condemn a man to hell who's physical surroundings, may affect judgement and knowledge. Certain religion's believes in a souls reincarnation, reincarnation is belived to be a method of dishing out ones karma, therefore reincarnation is the ultimate judgement, enabling the soul to be punished or rewarded for past and present life actions. Karma, which is closly able to be related to Newtons law of motion (every action has an equal and opposite reaction) give a soul the ability to learn from past mistakes, which we are taught from a young age that you "learn from your mistakes" which is why i find the christian faith along with many others hypocritical, why teach that mistakes are to learn from, a 2yr old learns from their mistakes, why not give the soul a chance to learn? Nirvana which roughly translated from Sanskrit meaning "to extinguish" put into context, to extinguish ignorance, hatred and physical suffering. When a soul reaches this high state of being or nirvana, an omniscient revealation of existance is discovered. Nirvana is reached through deep meditation and sacrifise, a realisation that your physical being is but a vessle for the soul to learn and a deep understanding that one's physical and emotional attachments are just distractions from achieving an existance which is free from all conflict, all inconspicuousness. An achievement of infinate wisdom, no physical existance, once the souls ultimate goal is reached it shall exist as one in pure harmony.

These are my beliefs, given it was clearly a researched topic and i don't compleatly understand how i could possibly give up both my physical and emotional attachments at this point in time, i strive to broaden my knowledge on all aspects in life. As i read about different beliefs i develope my own, the more i read, the more i learn the stronger i feel. This all started because i've recently realised that our cat which has been in our family since i was 4 will probably die soon and it angered me that western religeon believe that my loving cat is soulless. Every living creature is beautiful which is why dispite obvious conflict in my own life with certain inderviduals i do try to forgive and let go of little meaningless tiffs, others who clearly posses younger, less accomplished souls are are simply that; younger. I feel no hate, nore do i feel content through personal frustration for ignorance.

think I might come back to this and read it when I have a little more time....

I'm a buddhist and I firmly believe in reincarnation. I'm not a total buddhist tho as I dont restrict myself to a strictly vegan diet but I have many beliefs that are entwined within my faith.

I would elaborate more but this would involve writing a book; and i still havent slept since Decadance .

It's just so logical, it's definatly the raver religion, plus i'm a firm beliver that christianity is evil, not christian's, f**k you god my cats got a soul

Agree'd, and this is what is running thru my head at the moment, hopefully more people read this and get a better understanding of things, and learn to forgive and let go, as you put it meaningless tiffs

wow dude.. such passion and emotion went into that. You have such a potential man. Find something you are really passionate for and go for it.... you have the brilliant mind for it!

exactly that.. tiffs are meaningless... otherwise we'd all turn emo just cos one person looked at us the wrong way.... let alone began an argument or anything.

Indeed cats have souls... they are living... and my cat.. well,.,.. at my friends place... he stays with me when im upset... actually.. he's always with me rather than the proper house renter.. hehe!!

i'd say thats almost the most coherent post i've seen ya make daana, and not just coherent but valid and clearly thought out. catsy is right mate, you have alot of power and potential in that mind of yours - just need some focus

religion is a personal matter and no-one should be able to tell you what to believe, i have my own beliefs and they, like yours, are changing as i grow and learn.

I actually whole hartedly agree with toby here, even as one bug blob of text it made sense to me aswell, and I didnt even read any of it twice cuz i thought i read wrong!

Daana has alot of power and potential, and if you get a chance to sit down and talk to him for 1-2 hours, you may think like I do, his IQ is HUGE!

(Although getting him to sit down for 2 hours is the hard part, but we both had alot to talk about on this one night at venus, and I enjoyed talking to Daana so much)
He may be younger then me, he may of been a grade below me at the same school as me, BUT, I doswear black and blue he is Wise, Mature, Intelligent, He weilds so much power and potential.)

Age, Race, Color, Creed, Beliefs, they mean nothing to me cause to a human soul, anything is possible and plausible, and when you really think about it, take off all those layers and the human body and your left with what every living creature has, a soul.

I do believe it's the buddist that follow, that you re-incarnate with your soul to get your soul wiser to the point you can shed your physical form and move to the next plane of existance, the astral plane, without getting too in-depth I think there is 7 plane's of existance, Physical (where we are now), Astral/Spiritual (the next plane), Time, I cant remember the rest, im sure google will find some info

Well written and read with great interest. You present some really interesting ideas mate. Ones that show understanding and insight. I dont care that I dont agree with all of them, we're all intitled to our own opinions, and I respect your's. Your heart is in the right place. You're a legend mate.

anyway this is my 10c to add to what you've said

Everything is alive and has a need/purpose, whether it is consious of this or not. for years human has thought that the source of great power has to be external and somewhat intagible for it can be used to explain the unknown, but it doesn't explain ourselves. I can't remember the religion that practices this but it is taught that each person has their own god and sentient spirit and when you bow to a person you are praying to their soul - or something like that. Throughout the years many people have given reference to god for guiding them to the righteous path that they are following, but is it totally out of the question to think that our own unconsiousness can think on a higher level to what our consious mind does?

just a few thoughts...
god knows all that you have done
but only you could know all that you've done...

god punishes the wikid
have you ever felt physically sick after you've done something really bad?

only god can grant true forgiveness
only if you forgive yourself can you be truely forgiven

maybe the answer to outer space really lies within?

we all start life as a blank canvas (the one conciousness) and it's through who we meet, what we see and what we hear (what we are subjected to) that makes us the people we are today and we can become all that we wish (use your imagination and seek your own destiny/identity). Reincarnatoin is the circle of life, when one thing dies another thing lives. Karma works the same, good deeds done now are repayed tomorrow for you are teaching good thoughts and practices to other beings who are still growing in their own minds like yourself, the more good deeds they see the more good things they know how to do - positive feedback.

daana, we are all equal, no one person is better than another, just a little more experienced but we are all learning until the day we die. people, do not think that you are less than another person simply because they saw something before you did, instead be thankfull that they have seen at all, you will have your chance . may all your journeys be prosperous and eventfull my friends

can this be merged with the other religion thread?? Confuses me to have two and there will soon be similar ideas expressed in both since most of us have already had their say in there.

A well thought out post daana, confussed me a little but each to their own.

Belief and religion are two entirely different things, each persons belief is their own and we should be free to dervive from religion that which we need, rather than have it dictated to us, with that I wholeheartedly agree.

My beliefs will differ from others, will change as i change and the world around me changes, there is no one true answer, there is no one right way... beliefs and exploration of religion is an ever constant leraning curve. There is only what is right for you at the time, the sum of your experiences and the sum or your personal beliefs.. let that guide you, be true to yourself and be the best person you can be to others, animal or human and your path in life will be a joyful one.

Dana - i think your view is shared by most who think about these things in depth and aren't followers of the mainstream. What i do appreciate is that people are moved by these thoughts still. Not everyone is part of the 'we must not think for ourselves' parade. And posts like that are a clear demonstration of that

i believe you create you're own reality. you construct your world around you just from opening your eyes and your mind making it something real. i don't see how there can be only one answer to everything AKA god, when there are infinate amounts of possibilities and questions. Its all about how far you believe in the power of you mind, and of yourself..

god made man in the image of himself. but man is the physical manifestation of his soul. have you noticed how people look like their personality? we are all individual beings who have the ability to both create and take life... look to the facts that we can create something that is .13 microns big despite our far greater size... i am god, we are all gods, the only limit to us realising and using this power is ourselves...

p.s. not spiritual but kind of cool, a guy has been able to compress audio, transmit it faster than the speed of light and have that audio come out of a remote speaker before it was transmitted...........

....you can tell if someones evil or a b*tch by looking at their eyes...some people have kind eyes and others have deep ones

i dont think people look like their personality as such, i think that a persons personality is formed by what they look like (eg. if someone is really gorgeous and told all the time then their personailty can turn b*tchy etc cos they are up themselves, where as if someone is gorgeous and has had a tough life then they can be more down to earth).
the way a person presents themselves is a connection between the way they look and their personality too....

Technically possible, when it's transmitted faster than the speed of light, time is traveling slower through the waves or something, it doesn't mean that it comes out in anticipation of transmition it would be for instance in mobile HOLY SHIT I JUST REALISED THAT I CAN'T BULLSHIT MY WAY OUT OF THIS OMFG THATS AMAZING LMAO

Also Tash, yes eye's good call like at anthems so dialed and i was like that guys a nice guy no but i totally know what you mean you are able to look into someones soul through their eyes, a person with a weak soul will avoid long periods of eye contact or avoid eye contact at all, this also shows a lack of confordence rather than a lack of respect for the person, which i've only really just grown to realise, you can learn alot from someone from a simple glance when your eye's meet to when contact is broken. I will personally break eye contact with a wink, it's friendly, generally non-sugestive and acceptable amongst most age groups. I'm shaking cause it's cold

I generally believe you can tell a lot from just looking at somebodys eyes, but what if their eyes are like dilated??

can someone read me? I'm not very good at the whole eye contact thing...I get distracted very easily

I honestly take every1 as awsome unless they do wrong by me i know that i've felt like shit and possibly given sum daggers with no thought what so ever, the only real way to know sum1 is have a nice straight lenghty conversation with them.
