My Sensation Experience!

Firstly, for those of u that don't know, I went to Germany, for the World Cup, my Brothers Wedding, and Sensation White Germany 2006!!

Well, Germany for starters is the Land of Beer and Pork! All meat there is pork, and the drink of choice by a majority of the population is Beer. I couldn't help but notice the really loose laws they have on alcohol there, they sell beer at any petty station on the corner, or even some bakery's sell them aswell... U'd be surprised where u find them selling the stuff, and ultra cheap too!! And cigarette vending machines are still out in force!

Ok, Well, My adventures to the Sensation White started... I got picked up, had my phats ready (made them myself with a LOT of help from Andrada, who practically did most of the work, while i entertained her)! I didn't have a shirt yet, so i went to the local, found they had SFA white shirt selection, and then i spotted this Singlet top thing, which exactly fitted the profile of the shirt i wanted! 5EU is all it cost...

So now, to get there, i need to get to the A2 (autobahn), and then..... stay on that untill i get there... surprising thing is, A2 runs smack bang thru the middle of where i live, and finishes, u guessed it, At Sensation White. No turning, no getting lost in a web of Autobahns... straight there and back!!!

Now while i was there, I spotted a lot of people wearing white driving this particular direction, each one i think secretly hoping the next was on their way to sensation white. I got there, and lo n behold, a see of white people waiting to get in!! all forms of people, some dressed in just regular white pants and a loose 10 year old white shirt that grandad gave them, or others that had the full works, from phats, to make up, to Masks, hair, hats, shoes..... etc... The people were all friendly, the vibe was intense!!

They started to let people in, and i happened to be one of the first people thru the door... THE STATIUM IS HUGE!!!!!!!! you just get this overwhelming majestic feeling when u walk in! I knew it was gonna be NUTS!!!... So I wont dribble on anymore, cos i think most of u have stopped reading by now anyway, and I'll let the pictures do the talking for how the party went, at which there was roughly, 60,000 people!!!



This is the Home of the German Sensation White! the Veltins arena, which many of you may have seen during the world cup! It holds the longest beer pipeline in the world, direct from the brewery to the stadium! AWESOME MAN!!! (and it's huge, just look at the size of the cars or cranes at the front... they are about 200 meters infront of the building... shows how big it really is!

This is the absolutely amazing lighting and sound rig!!! it's AMAZINGLY powerful bass, and crispest sound ever! To get a grip of how big it actually was, look at DJs in the DJ booth below it...





This is a GREAT shot of how good the lighting show was... I mean thise are lasers, but those are not ALL the lasers...



And What kind of experience would it be without a crowd shot... I have many more, i just chose one at random... pity it had something blocking a bit of the pic!

Just a theme I guess. Get everyone in on it and make the dancefloor look like a cotton field. Looks funky.

Lol, This is a dance event like enchanted... One requirement of it is that you wear nothing but white!

BTW, out of the amount of people there, there was not one fight!! thats what i call respect!

The guys that run this also put on a show where everyone where's nothing but black! More morbid atmosphere, and they have brawls there all the time! Just goes to show how colours play on peoples mood etc.

He's sensation white security.. they wore green shirts so ucould tell them apart! and they didn't let people in if they had too much colour! all the rest of the staff was wearing white... Some where really nicely dressed! REALLY nicely... *mumbles something but hot german bar girls*

Tickets for sensation white sold out the month before the event... sensation black is 2 weeks after... White tickets cost more, they're 50Eu for a ticket, (around 100 bucks including booking) black tickets are 35Eu...

People at sensation white are all mainly clubbers, and a few ravers, but very uplifting atmosphere between 45-55K ppl!
People at sensation white are all mainly Nationalists, skinheads, and a lot of riots and brawls happen between rivaling soccer teams, around 30-40K ppl! Thats the only reason i didn't go to black, cos the tunes are better!

Qlimax is a NUTS event, i so wanted to go to that! one of the Best raves, not the biggest, but good tunes!

Daana! there were quite a few black ppl in the crowd! Was actually quite funny to see... Imagine the Black ppl at Sensation black!

I'm goin to europe again in 2 years (so i've planned n started saving) this time purely for leisure, and relaxation, not family... so anyone can start saving and join me!

I wanna have an anthems yellow... that would be insane!!! i wouldn't have to change my colours then!!

pharmacy 6th bday has a black dress code will be interesting but i want to go to sensation black

Yeah They Release both a CD, and a DVD from the night...

The German site is www.sensationwhite.de, the international one is .com, and the ID-T website is www.id-t.com...

BTW, they did have two different entrance checkpoints, because they patted us down, the girls got checked by girls, n the guys by guys... thats why that photo is mainly full of blokes!

How did you first find out about the parties ?

Well, i've known about them for a while... can't really remember how i first found out... i guess i saw a vid on thunderdome, and did a little research into european raves... I was either gonna go to sensation white, or love parade, only two that fit in with when i was in germany...

Love parade had less ppl this year then sensation!
