Hey guys,

I'm in need of a new car...ok well maybe not but I want one anyways! I'm trying to toss up between the Honda Integra S and R type. The S is a newer model but apparently the R goes faster. Heeelp!
Jutsinr
I haven't heard much about the S .. but I haven't really bothered to do any research.

The R's are sweet rides though; both my cousins had one for a couple of years there. It's up there next to the Prelude as far as a preferred car for me goes biggrin.gif
joker4r
yer i head the type R is faster too. why u want another car, that the corolla not good enough 4 ya.
laugh.gif

i have been in the car with u, u have danger writen all over ya tongue.gif blink.gif

sorry babe, just had to say it laugh.gif wub.gif
funkyqtr
Hmm what are you saying Simon??! I'm a very good driver (rainman style!). I just need a car that supports my driving abilities (or need to go fast!) that my poor little 4cylinder auto just doesn't seem to do even though it is red!
DeLr

Get yourself into a ST204 Celica GT-Four A-Spec. Fastest factory model Celica ever produced by Toyota. It was a monster in the early/mid 90's. In Japan it was even named Godzilla II (after the Nissan Skyline R23 Godzilla model).

Due to it being All wheel drive, not only is it safer. But also sticks like shit to a blanket around the corners. While in stock form they are slighly slugish in the rev range, a few basic mods (airfiler, cold air induction, lest restricvive exhaust) she'll be reving very quickly biggrin.gif

Tho Riz you are on the right track with the Type R. VTEC is fraking awesome. After driving a friends Vtec powered 2000cc ( i think it was 2L) i was mighty impressed. It felt much like my oldschool Celica with the Twincam 1600 (2T-GEU, with webers insted of EFI, but still GEU engine) which for those one here who have known me long enough to know my old Celica knows how it loved to absolutly rev its tits off.. and make a fraking fantastic sound of it at the same time.

NOTHING beats the induction ROAR of beefy twin carbs biggrin.gif You turbo owns can keep your PSSSSCHT!! tongue.gif

I agree with you there being an old school celica fan my self and owning and modding quite a few over the years also just becoming the owner of a pre loved 88 sx model for which i thought i didn't want to mod it but thinking the gte convrsion looks mighty tastey.

Go the Vtec version for sure and if that still aint fast enough for you turbo kits for the V tec motors are available and they bloody fly. biggrin.gif

If the GT4 was such a weapon how come toyota dropped it from its range..? Yes it was a nice car, but she was a heavy weight in the turbo 4wd class which held her back from the likes of Subaru and Mitsubishi... Which is why these cars dominated in the Australian and World Rally Championships of the time.. tongue.gif Also this is why TRD have now fitted that drive train into a smaller and lighter car..

Yes I agree there are heavy cars.. but that didnt stop them dominating rallys in the early 90's. They had there spot in the lime light, just like the Audi Quattro (which i must admit its till THE most legendary 4wd turbo in rally history), the Suby WRX (yes fast, but over-rated IMO) and the Lancer Evo range (Beasts!)

Since the release of th ST204 Celica and the RZ Supra. Toyota have gone COMPLETLY SOFTCOCK! which is a shame sad.gif They have the knowlage to wonderful things. But they have seemed to ignore the performace side of things and have aimed at being the best family type car producer in the world. And while they sell the most cars in the world these days.. its still lame.. I want another GT-Four!! and another Surpra before 2015! lol

And another important thing to me regarding the Celicas is they are somewhat rare (not so much the FWD of course) and unique.. Not every man and his dog owns one and thinks they are top shit (I'm looking at your commie/post 90 nissan drivers smile.gif )

Anyway.. sorry Riz im getting way off topic biggrin.gif Can u you tell im passionate! hahaha
