Im so pumped up for this movie I cant wait, anyone else as excited as me?

sure the first two sucked and were boring but they were always gonna be boring. thats why lucus chose to make the middle three initially!!!

anyway all hells gonna break loose in this one. massive sky battle to open up... Obi Wan and Anakin Vs Darth Dooku. Mace Windu Vs Darth Sidious. Obi Wan vs Anakin!!!! aarrgghhh action galore. Not to mention this crazy General Grevious character who im sure will cause a rukus.

couple of screen shots get you all excited.

yeah I was going to go with mates at 12:01 at Marion but didnt get tickets.

have decided to go to West Lakes on friday night and see it in style. One of those Deluxe cinemas with the recliners.

Like star wars or not, It has to be one of the greatest sci fi stories of all time! the storyline and universe set up is all so complicated. Yet it all fits together prefectly!
TCB
yes it does all fit so perfectly! and like you said whether you like it or not it is one of the greatest stories/epics ever told. my mum is even going to see this.

and that battle scene at the start is gonna be awesome. the movie is already getting good reviews by the people who have seen it! im so excited! only 9 days!

but like they say its also going to be a sad moment cause we will finally have to accept the story has come to an end. but we and our children will cherish it for a long time to come! wink.gif
Decepticon
theres always the last three that someone will make to cash in later in life (Lucus said he never will, but im sure someone will)

yeah im happy that alot of reviews have given this an awesome review whilst also not being a fan of the first two.

sometimes its "cool" to not like something thats commercial and i must admit I have done this before but i geniunely didnt enjoy the first 2. especially the first one, which seemed based for under 10 year olds with jar jar binks, and pod racers, and lil anakin. and the big evil boss with a painted face.

I was very disapointed with the first one that it took me until a couple of months ago to watch the 2nd... but now that ive seen that i understand what its all about .... those two are just leading up to this!!! this ones what its all about. Unlike episodes 4,5 and 6, which all have a defining start and end and can be viewed as one.

First time I heard the movie mentioned, I thought they said Revenge of the spliff laugh.gif

TCBr
i much enjoyed this movie had its good and bad moments but certainly tops it all off i say! smile.gif

just not as excited as i thought i would be. i guess im just sad its all over. mellow.gif
PaulHamonr

A little slow in parts.. but awesome tie-ins!

The poor younglings...
nickdubr
yeah that younglings scene was sad, but having said that, the best part was at the end, when my son said , "dad, that was excellent, you are the best!"
although he was a bit sad when mace windu bit the dust.
TCBr
though i gotta admit that wasnt how i expected to see mace windu go out!!!

pretty emotional stuff how the jedi were killed now that i think about it!!

like when the jedi master with the pointy head was leading the clones into a attack but instead they stopped and shot him was quite sad! unsure.gif

i gotta admit i was too shocked to show any emotion during the movie let alone shed a tear! unsure.gif but now that i think about it, it is quite a sad movie! sad.gif
eskimopier
Just wondering if anyone has seen the latest Star Wars film yet? How was it? I havent heard much about it, but Im dying to go see it.

cant get over how good it is......

so much fuckin action. sensational CGI.

everything is interwoven perfectly. such a sad movie, yet at the end of the day theres still a glimer of hope for the good guys.

i was glued to the screen, i cant wait to watch it a second time... or a third!

what i dont get is why yoda is busting off in hiding for the next 20 years now!

action action action.. there was so much of it!!!!!
NokturnLr
I loved the movie man.. so freakin awesome!

loved this movie. was great, had a few moments of pure cheese though!
dont think I could sit through phantom menace, or attack of the clones again though.
how cool was the fight between ani and obi-wan? loved the way it ended. damn harsh though! But empire strikes back is still my favourite!
Decepticonr
yeah valid point .... those first two were so boring id probably be asleep by the third one!

PaulHamonr
i like the whole six for every different reasons...

1. lots of jedi mind tricks...
2. the first time you see yoga unfold as a jedi warrior
3. the linkage to the last three
4. was the start of something special
5. best one ever...
6. fucking ewoks

smile.gif PaulHamon smile.gif
djkarnager
think they need a highlights reel of the first two movies! There was some good things like yoda cutting sick and the fight with darth maul in the first one. lets leave the poorly acted love sequences behind. condense it to 30 minutes and i'll watch it!
fictionr
man, i was lucky enough to score tickets to the exclusive preview last wed 18 may at 630 at marion . i loved this film. i thought it was amazing and very dark and sad. so sad i ended up crying all over the place. i love star wars. best story ever.
fictionr
such a rad movie. check the other revenge of the sith thread for comments.

hey simon.
just went and saw it a second time. It was really emotional. Even better the second time round.
didn't make me cry though, there was a few tears in the theater.
