Back in 2000 Cris P and I entered a Competition run by Triple J to remix Fatboy Slims Star 69. We didnt win, but we still had fun doing it.

Typically, we left this to the last minute to enter and produced and mastered this track in 1 day. Since then we have both been working on our own stuff, on and off, but nothing compares to this imo.

Have a listen.

diggin' it

yes i got the heiroglyphics too but this is a bug that has been reported before - but easy fix by right-clicking and choose save as, and call it something.zip

i like this one and only wish i was at home so i could crank it louder! cool trippy sounding beats and effects - smooth groove all the way through.

top notch boyz, you should be proud

Thanks Tobes!!!

Yes we are very proud. The winner was actually a thrash metal version... but shit happens i guess.. Atleast we had a go..

Yeah.. I opened the cupboard of cd's to get a randome disk to test a stereo and there it was. Ive only looked for it there 4 million times and never found it. And ive also moved house and unpacked everything into that cupboard since i first started looking for it too...

listenng to it now, Sounds wicked guy's......one would ask why you two don;t get together and do more???

Not surprised a thrash metal version won it was JJJ after all

have you sent it in to fresh at all? i know sometimes they ask for people to send their stuff in

We havent really had a chance to sit down and write something together since. We always end up being dickheads instead. Its a good idea tho.. we really should. If we can manage to whip that up in a day, i wonder what we could do if we actually put our minds to it.

Ive never thought of sending it into fresh. It still needs the levels adjusted and as cris said above, some major eq'ing.. maybe then we'll send it to fresh...
