Trance just keeps going from strength to strength at anthems parties, so it's time again for two rooms of nothing but the best old school and new school trance. Classics like PUSH, Nalin & Kane, Blank & Jones, and System F, go head to head against the freshest in uplifting, dark, and melodic trance. Even a dash of freeform has found its way in of late.

Spread over two rooms at Tonic, doors open at 9pm with DJs ATB, Cheeky B, Davin, Devious, Dr Damage, Howlett, Mr S, Slide, Solace and Submission battling it out. Limited presold tickets are $20 plus fees from Venue*tix and [online here]... more on the door.

After the success of our last trance anthems, we just had to give it a trance flavour this time. Classic tracks from the likes of PUSH, Nalin & Kane, Blank & Jones, and System F, meet the freshest in uplifting, dark and melodic trance.

Davin30 Dec 2006, 4:28pm

Adelaide rarely supports purely trance shows well, yet trance seems to go off when you sneak some in at just about any event. Trance is HUUUUUGE everywhere in the world except Adelaide, and that never really made much sense to me.

For that reason it's always extra special to see Trance anthems with a good turnout, but it's probably more to do with the fact that it's anthems rather than trance LOL Ah well, either way, we're in for some tunes that'll wire that smile from ear to ear

, and the crowd for these shows are always a something special

Bring it!

Excellent turnout and great to see so many smiling faces tonight (with a few minor hiccups) cranking it on the dance floor.

This Trance anthems was definitely a memorable one. Met some new faces as well and hopefully managed to get more people onto the whole anthems seen.

Yep, Howlett stuck pretty well to what he was asked to play.... 2005 onwards trance in the front room. Everyone wants to play old school trance in the back room at Tonic, but he didn't complain, just did a really good job! Always great to see a DJ playing as part of the team and not for their own glory. Hopefully you'll go far..... think we'll have to pencil this boy in for another set soon

minky29 Jan 2007, 10:21am
