HARD EVOLUTION
Last year you hardcore lovers raved so hard, we literally broke the floor with our first edition of Hard Evolution!
Now the MFC are back to give you another chance with a whole new venue!
Bringing you the very best in hardcore styles including: Dutch, Freeform, Industrial, Old School, UK Hardcore and a dose of Hard Trance to get the party started!
From 9pm to 6am we will be pulling out the hardest body aching tracks and re-living the Evolution of Hardcore, from back in the day till now!
From house, to gabber-house in the early 90’s, Hardcore progressed in leaps and bounds, constantly evolving from very primitive methods and sounds to the classic upbeat sound synonymous with the mid-90’s golden era, to it’s metamorphosis at the turn of the century with flying leap from analogue to digital, completely revolutionising the sound back to a primitive stage, shaping over the years in intricacy and complexity into what it is today, hosting various genres and styles within itself, from the boisterously driven Dutch melodic hardcore, to the dynamic drives of freeform, the trademark noisekick sound of frenchcore, the playful nature of UK Hardcore, the brooding atmospheres of darkcore and menacing power of industrial.
A handpicked selection of Adelaide’s finest vinyl technicians of the genres will be showcasing their skills, mixing tunes from some of the pinacle producers from around the globe, such as: Paul Elstak, Neophyte, Scott Brown, Nosferatu, Endymion, Hixxy, Breeze, Styles, Lost Soul, Dougal, Teium, K-Complex, Kevin Energy, RX, Ophidian, Tommyknocker, Angerfist, Partyraiser, Evil Activities, Pain on Creation and Unexist, plus local producers Evil Dave, Ism and Tantrum bringing their own latest creations to the table.
