Hello all

I've been told by a few people i'm not too bad at dream interpretation and figuring out what the dream means.

So if you have a dream that you have no idea what it means, post it in here and i'll help you figure it out!

note: be as descriptive as possible, as places, colours, people, animals, time of day, feelings etc mean a lot.

A mate had a "wierd" dream bout me last Sunday. She reckons that all my mates hadnt seen me for a few days and then she had a call from another mate saying i was found dead.

Yay i thought. This is just great. She has had wierd dreams like this before. She dreamtd that Michael Hutchison and some other singer had died a week or 2 before they did. Great for me i said. What should i do?? should i hide myself in a padded cell for a week or 2 or should be thankfull a chick is dreaming about me???

I wouldn't see it like that. I have dreams like that too, but there is a very distinct difference in feelings between prophetic dreams and just general dreams.

The thing about death is that its not a final thing. Look at it as a rebirth. Given your friends were looking for you then they found you dead, could mean that in some ways, you've entered a new stage of your life in which old friends (ones in the dream perhaps?) will not continue on with you.

Given it was your friend's dream, and the fact that she got the news by phone, maybe she feels like there is a part of the friendship that has changed, or that she sees you as moving on to a new stage in your life, and perhaps leaving her behind a bit...

Harder to say cause the dream is for her, and maybe thats something you need to ask!

What about nightmares.. do they have meanings behind them to?
I mean other then if you watch a scary movie and have a scary dream.

It depends on the content but usually yes.
It can often refer to a subconsious fear of some sort being shown in a hidden way. Possibly to do with childhood. I findmany people have repressed emotion/fear fromt younger stages in their life.

Well the last couple times ive been around hers having a drink or doing what not she tells me to be carefull and starts acting all wierd. I just laugh it off but thanks her for the concern. Maybe she has been seeing me doing some out there things off late and just is worried. Still i just like the part that a chick is dreaming about me hahaha but i gota go see her 2morow after work and ill ask if she has had any more dreams and see if she can xplain them a little better

The dream is very basic..

the dream ususlly starts from my point of view.. standing staring into the mirror. It usually feels about midnight and ther are no lights on yet i can see my eyes really clearly and i'm staring into them.

Then the next part is like from someone elses point of veiw.. i can see myself standing in the bathroom leaning agains the bench leaning into the mirror... the scene is very dark and usually blue (like moonlight coming into the window).

Then i see myself jump back and scream as these green scaley arms with massive claws come out of the mirror and try to swipe and grab me. As the claws come out of the mirror the lights come on and i can see the arms really clearly.

I've had this same dream about 5 times in the last 2 weeks.

I usually wake up feeling petrified and paranoid.

Thats kinda spooky..

I've had dreams that kinda start off all fun and awesome then i'd get a phone call saying my mum or dad have died, it'd normally come from an ex.
Or I'd find my mum or dad dead and my ex would be leaning over them or something like that.


always very morbid dreams.

Remember the scene in Back to the Future, where Michael J Fox is playing "Johnny Be Good" to the auditorium full of students?

I dreamt that last night, except I was Michael J Fox, I was about 60 years old (although I was in the past), and although I was just bashing my hands against the strings of the guitar the song was coming out perfectly.

I could also see myself (so it was like a third person type thing) - and at some point during me playing the song, I saw my younger self walking around in the crowd.

It gets a little hazy after that; then I woke up.

Am I taking the piss right now? No. I'm completely serious; and subsequently have Johnny Be Good stuck in my head - so I'm getting a few versions of it now

Mirrors and eyes are both a reflection of your inner self/soul. This means that at the moment, you're probably really having a good look at yourself from the inside. BUt at the same time, as you are watching yourself also, you aware that you assessing whats inside, and trying to see what others think, or looking at yourself objectively.
The monster is something from your subconscious - there is something inside of YOU that is trying to hurt you. And you don't like it, but you're afraid of it. As the light is coming on you're also aware of everything that is going on. So maybe this means youre damaging yourself or hurting yourself in some way? Claws are sharp, so it's not something subtle.

I think it's a message not to wait to hurt yourself, but whilst youre there thinking about yourself and your life, try to help yourself, not stand back and let the pain/hurtful side kick in.




I vaguely remember it. What exactly is the song about???
AS you know how to just play the song perfectly, means the intent/message of the song is something that you know well and are living by. Not just now, but in the future, and as a child. SO look up the lyrics, work out what they mean to you

Wow.. u've pinpointed alot of things going on with me at the moment.. and now you say it, the dream does making alot of sense... thanks... maybe i can start changing things!

Lastnight I dreamt that my little 12 year old brother was shooting at my boyfriend and myself whilst we were just sitting on the couch, with the intention to kill us. He shot about 6 bullets at me and they all missed and did the same thing with my bf. After yelling at him to stop i knew that he was planning on another attack soon, so me and my bf packed our bags and moved interstate.

I dream a lot of night mares (well by a lot i mean like 3/4 a year) They're the only dreams i really dream at all... My nights consist of me hitting the pillow and waking up without any form of dreaming which people say isn't possible... well I don't, and if i do it's more subconscious than i know... I do still have falling dreams or being chased dreams but they're just silly...


ANYway, the dreams i do have i remember every detail of them! I remember names, places, directions to places i didn't know existed and places that i had no idea were there. I've checked up on a few some times... Most of them end with the end of the world, Either being a War with me running in the frontlines but never dying or doing anything, or one giant row of tornado's that destroy everyting in it's path. My dreams always end with the end of the world, or me dying...

I still even remember dreams i had when i was 8 years old... My entire town was on fire with a fire that made anything it touched dissapear... I remember the name of the street even, I remember the tools in the shed and where they were hanging, i remember the code to get into the shed... The dream ended badly with a Wood plane having caught on fire and being thrust into my father, and he dissapeared... i woke up crying for 2 hours straight in my dads arms praying to god that he was still alive and really there with me...

The only other dreams i have are small stupid ones like me skydiving without a parachute and waking up before i hit the ground... but i never remember details of silly dreams like that...

The song is about a country boy from New Orleans who is pretty much dumb at everything, but he can play the guitar really well, and will one day be in a famous band, still playing guitar, etc.

That needs to be open for a LOT of interpretation, because right now it's the furthest thing from me as literally possible. I'm not a country boy, I'm not from New Orleans, I read and write better than most, I've touched a guitar once in my life, and I have no desire whatsoever to lead a band and/or play music.

I'll put on my critical thinking cap and figure something out though

i have some horribly violent dreams but they don't actually mean anything apparently. I remember seeing a sleep therapist about it when i was a bit younger and while the type of dreams I have are very rare they are apparently nothing to worry about.
here's and example of one I had last friday night... I was in a movie theatre and a group of men dressed in dark outfits stormed the theatre and started gunning down people. I got shot in the armpit of my right arm trying to shield the person with me. One of the guys storming the theatre grabbed my by the hair and head butted me in the nose. They all left not long after. Myself and the person I was sheilding and a handful of others who managed to find a way out of the theatre were the only ones left alive... carnage!!

Not so scary in itself really but the freaky thing is the manifestation of the injuries I sustain in the dream. I have a red area in my arm pit where I was shot and a bruise across the top of my nose where I was head butted. Weird stuff. Happens all the time although less now than when I was a bit younger. Really weird. I prefer dreams where I don't wake up with a mark where I had the dreamed injury!

I've heard about that.. how do you sustain injuries while u sleep... do you act out ur dreams in bed; ie fling ur arms about etc?

Aliens maybe?? thats just a bit wierd waking up with marks on u from what happend in your dreams.

Maybe write them down. You might get a good plot to a movie that Quentin Tarantino that would direct and you could be famous. Isnt that how some writters come up with story lines? in there dreams etc...

yeh.. that's when u wake up with random bruises and sore muscles and don't know where that came from. All u know is that u were lying in bed sleeping.

Okay, so i had a dream the other night and it was pretty vivid.
I've been looking for a job lately so it was based around me finding a job.

Except the job i got was as an 'explorer'. This man and his wife were mapping out some kind of island (massive by the way) and i was to go around to caves and explore through them, but then it all turned into some RPG game. Every time i encountered an enemy i would go to some kind of menu screen and had to pick a team of 4 from a choice of about 20 different characters. Then I would fight with those characters. Each character had a family it came from and there were stats and details about it all. Some characters had family in the 20. But these characters, though, most were people, there were also about 6 or 7 that were half animal sorta things and there was 3 that were all from the same family which were sorta like miniature dinosaurs but very cartoony.
Umm... either way, every time i finished exploring a cave and defeating the boss or whatever the dude (my boss) would come up to me with a sort of electronic map and tell me how many caves there were to go and where they were.
The island was a sort of cross between... The Final Fantasy 9 continent and Australia.

Umm... Eventually the dream ended when i went home from my first day and told my parents how awesome my job was and they were all like "you sure you dont want to take that other job at that computer store?" and i was like "hell no! this is awesome" and they started teh whole "but where will it lead you? what qualifications doesit give you?"

And then I woke up. Mean anything?

i had to do that when the dreams first started.... the dream analyst at the time told me that after reading my "dream log" she couldn't sleep for fear of having nightmares about it. It used to cause insomnia for me but I'm used to it now... never get used to waking up with bruises and scratches in odd places for no good reason though!! She showed me some pictures of a girl in Europe who had the same sort of dreams and she looked like she'd been run over by a semi-trailer in every picture - thank god mine are not that bad!

OK, i was riding my motor bike to marion shopping centre from my house for a job interview at bws i saw orange, i can't remember the job interview then on the way home i was listening to my ipod and i was just going up that road with the darlington cop shop and i was turning left onto south road and you know that add where that drunk driver doesn't look very much when he's turning left and he turns out infront of a motor bike, well a car hit me cause i wasn't watching but then it happened again and i could hear the final fantasy boss music, not sephiroths just the general boss sequence music, and a stopped and nothing drove past and i was like meh so i went, then i rocked up sumwhere i don't know where it was a soccer pitch but it was small and it was up stairs and there were 2 people who were asian, 1 male and 2 female and it was the two girls against me and this dude and we played soccer and the ball kept on turning into a scrunched up piece of papper, then my dude kept kicking it way to high and the roof lifted off and there was it was like circle black clouds with a little blue light in the middle then the ball went through and it opened up but the colour didn't change from pitch black to blue i don't think and then the ball came down and my guy did that kick where they jump up and go on their side and then kick the ball and fall on the ground, yeh he did that and then he had to go and i started kissing one of the chicks then i got a hard on and woke up

Seeing that its your younger brother, are there any major relationship issues between you? maybe you feel like youre under attack from him. If not, it could me given he is so young, that he represents a problem area in your life thats almost petty and minor or immature, but its affecting you and possibly those around you, and you just want to run away from it. My suggestion is to maybe work out what your brother means to you. i.e. what qualities does he most have? if he is say argumentative, could mean you're sick of petty arguments etc...




This is obviously showing your attachment to you Dad - at that age, father son relationships are vital. THis is just a way of presenting your fear, of losing your Dad.


Well think of it this way, your thoughts affect your body. If youre a nasty person saying horrible things, you're often one to end up with throat infections etc.. not always the case, but it can happen.

Armpit are is a bit of a toxin/salt release area, so maybe you're having issues releasing something bad from your life? black men could indicate somthing you're unaware of, and it's hurting others around you. Maybe not so directly, as you're in a dark place, don't recognise the people. Also, you could be fearing someone/thing damaging your reputation by the hair, and the hit to the nose, is one of your senses being damaged - maybe something is going past undected. Smell is often the forgotten sense. It's probably not smell, but something else about you that you're having damaged.



Obviously the job thing is on your mind..
but the fact you have numbers/people youre looking at means you can pick and choose. You have a few options avaliable to you. Therefore look at what you like, reflect on it. Maybe even try a few things out ?

thanks Lauren... apparently the dreams aren't connected to the subconsious in the same way ones normal dreams are though. I went through a lot of analysis with them and there wasn't any corrolation between that and events in life or subconscious. They toyed with the idea that they occured as a result of the kidney infections I get all the time but there was no pattern there so that one kind of died in the ass too! Even monitoring the waves that dreams produce was difficult as the area in the brain where they occur is not standard or not triggered in the same way as when having a normal dream.....In the sleep lab they could only tell when I was having the dreams when I wasn't registering anything else (as in wasn't dreaming a normal dream) Weird but not that uncommon apparently... they came to the conclusion that while they can't explain it and can't pinpoint what causes it at the very worst I'll turn into a psycho killer and at best they'll just keep happening with no real impact on the day to day. I always remember these "dreams" vividly, including smell and touch as well as the visual and physical aspect. Other dreams I rarely remember though. Another indicator that they are not a standard dream apparently. *shrugs*

We know so little about our brains I guess it's hardly suprising that some things just can't be explained as yet...

Just sitting back and waiting for the psycho killer to kick in now!!!

I've had a couple of re-occuring dreams lately... would LOVE to know what they mean.

The first one... is

In my dream, everything is SO REAL. Like, everything I see in my house is exactly where it acutally is when I went to sleep/wake up... if I walk into something, I feel it etc

What happens, is I wake up because I think I hear someone in my house. I go to turn on the light, but nothing happens. So I go to the fuse box (in the dark, hence the "feeling" bumping into things" and flick the lights fuse as it had been switched off. as I do that, the back entrance light comes on, and an arm reaches over my shoulder and flicks the fuse switch off again, then I wake up.
(as you can probably guess, I'm in a fair state of shock and fear when I wake up )

the other one...

I keep dreaming of recieving an sms from a friend saying "stay the frak away from me", then minutes later seeing them out and about and them refusing to even look at me, let alone speak to me.


Both of these dreams are causing me to wake up and have panic attacks. Hopefully if I can work out what they mean, then they'll stop?

Another dream i had not long ago well it was ages ago

ok first i was flying around but i couldn't fly very fast

and then there was this go kart race and i couldn't fly fast and every1 was laughing at me

and i was flying to the end of the pack and they were all laughing at me

and then i started flying back and they were all laughing at me so i powered up like goku and BAM i was heaps fast

then i was gonna race Harley up a mountain and she'll be coming round the mountain when she comes was playing in my head

then i was flying up the hill, i had to stay on the road and there was a bit of the road that was made out of cabbage or like green vegetables that was like cabbage and i had trouble getting over it but harley got over it and he won

and then i was playing golf on a roof and i could fly and i was doing that

then i had to save Hannah from that bunker in golden eye but it was on roof tops

and i entered through a vent in the roof but i got caught

i dont remember how i escaped but i did and then we got back on the roof

then we were going for a hike and i made this big tent and it was big enough for 100 people

then i found a bottle of black douglass i think thats the brand and then i lost the lid so i had to skull

then we walked past my mates house

then we rocked up at the village and lived there

then a place got robbed but i found the guy

so i took the money back to the store owner

but the store owner said here you keep half and i'll keep half and let insurance take care of it

then i dont remember anything else



omg i got chills just thinking about the first 1, but if you dont wake up then you can be like, yo nigga who the frak is you, then you pull out the 44 cal and shoot the bitch ass, and if that doesn't work head butt him till he bleeds that always gets my badies i'd help if i could but i can't

I have had a few dreams in the last few days.. I am not one to dream much but it's happening more and more now...
... someone standing infront of me a good friend I have run upto them, open arms for a hug. They just start laughing at me, they dont stop though the rest of the dream. everything is in a grey, with like a red under tone you know what i mean.... anyway the ground they are on lifts like pillarthey are looking down at me still laughing and I am feeling about 2 cm tall... then their partener appears out of nowhere and starts laughing and abussing me.. calling me names, pushing me backwards... they room starts to spin and get darker, I start to see things as if I am watching this happen now..
I wake up at this point.. usually as if I had been holding my breath while in the dream, and I usually have been in a cold sweet

what worse is i have this same dream 5 times in the last 3 days.... not much sleep!

What have i started



Ok first dream. You're feeling you way around a situation, something/someone that is close to you - indicated by your home. You aim to sort out the problem, but as soon as you are, the problem is being caused again as you cant see who/what is causing the problem. It could be someone is trying to 'keep you in the dark' about something. But maybe you're not fully aware of it - just be cautious

Second dream, could be acting upon a subconscious fear? Or think about what this person reminds you of, what this person makes you feel. Is it a friend close to you? or someone more indirect? A person can often represent a situation attached to a period of time when you spent a lot of time with them... Perhaps think about that then ask me anything else once you know





Hmm.. perhaps you are feeling belittled by someone, or like they are rejecting your love. Again like in Emmas case, if its a close friend, maybe you fear losing their respect, or as a general person, may represent a time period in your life. Grey and red - think newspaper - the situation may be something visible to everyone, and although seems black and white, is maybe a slightly one-minded approach. The alterdness of you feeling really small also shows unfairness in the situation. PErhaps your side of the story isn't being heard. As it is a re-occuring dream, really stop to think about it. But i think this may be more of a fear than anything... just instinct

I had a dream that i was at a rave and i didn't know any1 and i was running around and i was heaps off my speaker blaster and it was huge but there wern't many people there then i kept seeing people i knew from a long time ago and then suddenly there were thousands of people and i didn't know any1 and i kept running everywhere and there were stalls with purple lights and heaps of trippy shit all over the walls then i saw special K but i just saw her then i saw this chick called Dimity and i wished something then she went into a room and she told me to go in then she pulled up her skirt and her was a mobile phone key pad

you're just crazy and a bit excited about dirty things and raves...

Maybe the phone suggests 1800-phone-s*x lol

I've had this dream 2 nights on a row...

Im in a high rise apartment, cleaning the balcony's floor tiles on my hands and knees. I look down through the glass and feel vertigo from the height.

wonder what it means..

Do you have a fear of heights? If so it could just be your subconsious..
But given that you're cleaning, maybe youre clearing something out your life, making room for new. The height - maybe you're coming 'back down to reality' in some way. Is something overwhelming you?


Maybe its about being less in baby world and coming back to spend more time on yourself and your surroundings, and possibly finding it overwhelming?

It also could be a sign to not work to hard

I dont like heights but im not psychotic about it.
Nothing overwhelming at the moment.
The only thing worth mentioning is that I have to start thinking about what hours I want to work and decide when I want to go back to work...

What u just explained i think fits perfectly into the type of dreams i have... They don't happen often but they are like real life when i dream them sometimes i have trouble distinguishing whether after i woke up if i'm actually awake or in reality... I remember Peoples names last names age, what kinda trees where outside at a certain time, the type of gun i was holding... etc... Everything is so scary sometimes like i can look up stuff after dreaming it and it's something real... I don't understand it at all...

And sometimes, not anymore but like i used to have dreams of just falling

Do you wake up and shake when you hit the ground in your dream? We all have those apparently

I never hit the ground lol i just fall

I have a Dream Book, that has A-Z of what certain symbols in dreams mean...I use this to figure out my dreams when I need to know...Most time I just let them go un noticed...My medication has been giving me the weirdest dreams lately, something tells me that they don't mean much

I always wake up and shake just before I hit the ground



Ahem .. my medication makes some of my dreams come in shades of purple.. and people have no faces...

sounds about right - Im used to them so I know that they aren't real now... although the bruises and bumps say otherwise.

I had another last night where I drempt I got kidnapped and they carved out a chunk of my right calf muscle - low and behold I had bruise in the same spot when i woke up this morning. Weird s*it and can be scary but if you know what you're in for... entertaining too!! The dream analysts told me that it might be similar to what someone who claims to have psychic powers "sees" just some odd connection between yourself and some events somewhere. Like a global conscience. Who knows if that's true, not something that can be proved and I'm not one to believe in psychic phenomena...

I dreamt i had a cramp in my left calf muscle and when i woke up my left calf muscle was sore

lol... I dreamt Daana said a crap post then I came on anthems and he actually did it...

I woke up this morning to a voice.... I was alone in bed, fast alseep... I awoke and hear the words "Watch this Paul"

I looked around... no-one was there...

I was fully shocked, it was strange...

Cannot remember anything like that happening to me before, ever...

Few times in a row now i've had really weird dreams... falling dreams where id have this like Alice in wonderland kinda experience but instead of clocks and stuff going past me it'd be still frames of bad memories going past me. Then suddenly it was like warp speed towards the ground and just as I'd hit the ground I wake up on my bedroom floor
I dont get it.. it hurts, and I am now planning on beginning on the floor and seeing if I wake up on my bed

I dreamt last night i was back at high school but i was new and i didn't know any1
I came out of the science wing and there were kids playing basketball
They wouldn't let me play so i flew up to the top of the ring and caught the ball then i just staied there till they left
Then the lunch bell rang and that ment that this room was going to lock for lunch so people couldn't run through it to the front of the school so you had to go around
So me a a big group of kids piss bolted through but the door locked at the front of the school
But this kid called Jason could unlock it so he pushed a few bottons and it opened
Then a teacher was coming from behind us so we bolted out and sat on the lawn like pretty far away and the teacher came out, and she didn't know who i was so i thought i'd be ok
But i had blue hair and a hat on or blonde hair and a blue hat on not sure
then she said you with the blue on, your in trouble and she was about 50 metres away from me
and i knew kung fu so i did the kung fu stance thing fanged it at here changed to the reverse stance with my left leg facing then i had a knife and stabbed her right through her arm, then i cried till i woke up and when i woke up i was holding a knife, no bullshit i have the knife here, i lost it ages ago i think my mum "lost" it cause it was too dangerous

I had a dream last night...i have a dream most nights

yeah me too... weird weird things they can be!

Oh I agreee, I gve up trying to interprit (sp?) them...They're due to medication, they can't be too clarifying!

Ok Paul... Well, this seems like some sort of BIG inner voice or something telling you to look at your life. Watch whats happening. Obviously its something good because there were no other images etc to show you otherwise. I've had a few dreams like that before with just a voice. I'd be paying attention. Don't take ANYTHING for granted.

Had a dream a few years back where I got up out of bed, looked in the mirror and saw my soul. My eyes were opaque and I had no hair but I knew it was my soul. I kinda freaked out, felt my eyes roll back fell on my bed and woke up. Was a pretty vivid dream!!!!



I also had another dream where I was eating a giant marshmallow. When I woke up my pillow was missing!!!!!!!

My sister and I talk to each other in our sleep/dreams. Its pretty strange and its not always a clear and understandable conversation. Either of us ussually rings the other first thing in the morning to see if it was just a dream or a connection.. the majority of the time its a connection where she's trying to tell me something or vice versa. Considering we live 20km apart its a bit weird, but cool at the same time.

Lately ive been having some awesomely vivid dreams thanks to nicotine patches... not only do i get to be healthy and feel great from not smoking, but i get these dreams at night aswell, all the the one low price of $25 / week!!!

I read that as having too many things on your plate / too many people wanting some of your time and your running out of time B4 you go O/S

Yeah i've done that with people before. At the moment one of my best friends has just moved to Sydney. And i keep having dreams about stuff thats happening to her. So when i actually talk to her, i ask her if such and such is happening, and yeah. It is.
Chris and me often end up chatting in our sleep or having some sort of crazy experience. Like, we wake up at exactly the same times at multiple times throughout the night, and end up saying stuff without talking, but usually only one of us remembers lol! Pretty freaky but really cool

some say that is linked to astral travel. travelling to a parrallel world in your sleep, and that shock of hitting the ground which makes you shake/jump and wake you is you returning to this universe.

I've had some weird ones lately:

The other night I dreamt that I opened the front door of a place I was in and there was people there trying to break in... I tried to fight the main guy off and he ended up grabbing me and sticking a gun in my back and pulling the trigger... I woke up just as he was pulling it. And I was shaking too... spooky!

Last night I had an even stranger dream... that my next door neighbour from pt lincoln had died (funny thing is in real life he's alive and his wife died a few years back) and then his ghost was hanging his washing up on their clothesline.. like he was invisible but the clothes were hanging themselves. And he gave me a sign that it was him by a christmas tree shaped bit of lint or something. Also I was upset in the dream even though I wasn't close to these neighbours nor have they been mentioned or in my mind for years.

Ok, first dream: indicates a fear about personal security. Maybe in some way you feel violated or in danger. What sort of place were you in? how you felt about the place could indicate more what it is your were worried about. was it a place you know already? or something made up? Maybe it is a sign to watch out about something coming up. Given the waking up after being shocked, that is quite common. Often dreams that wake me up like that can be either a) a serious message or b) subconscious fear.

Often dreams about the past can come up, and often in a slightly altered form to the original event. How did the wife die? was it obvious that he died in any particular way or that he died in the same way? Perhaps this is something to do with that time of your life. The cleaning of the clothes is the big symbol. He was cleaning something that was external to him. Even though, it no longer was necessary to i.e. souls without bodies don't need clothes.

Perhaps this is indicative of yourself, or someone around, is making is trying to cleanse themselves of something, that is no longer an issue or problem. Maybe they are holding onto something that really isn't supporting them any good. As you said, the people in the dream aren't really people you think about regularly. So i think maybe that is part of the lesson. Maybe it's not the past that is holding you/or someone else back, maybe its' their attachment to the past or their beliefs that are.

In regards to the first dream I woke up freezing cold but it was a warm night.. something I hadn't experienced before! It was also a place I didn't know but lived there I think.

And the second one his wife died of cancer, was actually when I wasn't living in Lincoln anymore. That interpretation is rather interesting actually and I think I can put it to a situation recently.

I had a vivid dream last night...

I was in a future where i had lost my entire family and friends in a catastrophy, and all that remained of them was burried in amidst a treasure... Years went past and i was a Mercenary in space and water, and my group of Mercs found the treasure and decided we were going after it... I was overly enthusiastic about this treasure and practically forced them after it, and then they asked why i found this treasure so important... Then i broke down crying and whimping in the corner uncontrolably, and managed to tell the person comforting me it's the last memory i have of my family, and kept crying... then it went to a fade out...

Thats part 1 of the dream... Part 2 was in the near future and me and my brothers went onto an Airplane that was like a boing 747 except far more luxurious and 5 times larger... the entire inside was wood, and i can even remember what the wood felt like... There were 2 levels on the plane but only the top level was open... but because it was squishy i decided to go for a wonder downstairs... i was told off, so i went and sat in a window seat down stairs, at which point i decieded i wanted to hang onto the side of the plane for a ride on a bolt... Then i let go, and started falling, and come to the realisation that this will be the death of me so i enjoyed the fall down cos its the last thing i woulda done... I then learned to fly and flew into a tunnel then i woke up...

this is the first dream i've had in months, and nothing like anything else before...
it's got me baffled...

I just remembered that before i went downstairs the plane actually went for a bit of a joyride in this air playground type thing, and the reason i was told off for being downstairs is cos i would interfere with the tail lights and then the plane landed on the playground/adventurepark and then was in midflight again...

I had the weirdest dream not last night but the night before. It is actually kind of embarrassing, but hey I cant control these things: While my friend was sleeping I cut off his penis (he was asleep) and put it on me like an attachment. All of a sudden I was at a Mardi Gras party and was having a great time dancing around as a tranny. Then my other friends (dont know who) said they wanted to go to a rave and so we headed off. But on the way I felt really bad, like what if my friend was bleeding to death. Or if he wasnt dying, that he was so worried about his penis and where it was and that he would know I took it and wouldnt be able to contact me because I didnt have a phone. I felt so bad but my rave friend said not to worry about it. Before we went into the rave though I had to call him to make sure he was ok. And when I did some girl called Melissa answered (I dont know any Melissa's) and I asked her if I could speak to my friend and she said he was busy at the moment. I asked her what they were doing and she said they had been drinking cask wine all day and he was now on he second cask.
And then thats where it ends.....hmmmmm?

I guess what the first thing you have to ask yourself is a) have your family in general had any changes recently as a whole. If so, maybe it's a fear of moving on from a situation? The fact that they've been buried in treasure is the key. Something about your family, you're holding close to you, even though you may feel seperated from it (this the seaching.) Is it perhaps that you feel detached from them? Or that you have good memories but are fearing that something will change in the future? Or that you are not going to be getting the same rewards from them?

Planes often represent a big change of direction; a new journey. The wood on the inside - recommends a solid, yet 'natural' journey. So this is perhaps marking a new yet expected and expected stage in your life. As for being interference: Maybe people are going to try and give you directions on what to do, or what THEY feel is right for you. As there are many people on a large plan, could suggest a few people around you going on a similar journey. In which give the circumstance, many will have their own views on what is right/wrong etc. few stops along the way i.e. playground etc...

Well rather than being generic about it, tell me about the content of your dreams. Once you figure out the messages they are trying to tell you, often the dreams stop.

First dream may be just streaming from a barrage of media imagery. But, i could mean that something emotional from the past you've put to rest, and it's being shoved back at you. maybe being in the throat it means words could be passed over it etc...

Second dream, you're giving something 'concealed' to someone, and they are trying to hurt you for it, so you're hiding. But behind every curtain is a window, so whatever you may have to hide from, there is a way out or something beyond the situation you're in. And you were being helped - so whatever the trouble is there's a solution

Obviously in some way you feel like your personal space is being invaded in some way or form. Is someone taking advantage of you?? Or are you unhappy with your personal space?? The size of the building could indicate it coming from people 'above' you i.e. in work situation or that there are many levels of people in your face etc..

I used to have a recurring dream where I was at the edge of a river at night, I was about 6 years old at the time. I could hear my mum and my brother calling my name so I ran towards them, down the jetty and saw them in a little wooden boat. Everything seemed ok but then they must've fallen in the river and started drowning and I couldn't swim so I just reached out at the end of the jetty but I couldn't reach them.

They were scary when I was little but I don't have them anymore. Now my recurring dreams are usually about being lost somewhere or being kidnapped or held hostage or raped or other stupid stuff like that.

I tend to have reoccuring water dreams.. which I know are something to do with emotions..
Alot of the time I dream of being near a cliff or waters edge and the water is rising and rising and I have to escape from it. Or i'm on a beach and the waters coming up closer, sometimes I have a house on the beach too and i'm trying to stop the water. Other times theres a jetty involved, or a ship.

Water is usually emotion. If you're on a jetty or boat, that refers to your emotional journey. If its coming up at you, then its overwhelming.

Its always coming up at me and i'm climbing away from it usually. Kinda like my world ending dreams that I have.. awhile back I dreamt that I was on a beach and could see a city to my left being destroyed and then all the water behind me sucked back into a huge tidal wave and I was going to die... then I woke up. I was driving along in the hills, really windy roads in the middle of the day with a few people in the car when it started to go really foggy and really dark, the fog was like, swallowing the car, getting really thick so I couldn't see anything, and it was creeping into my car, like through the vents and stuff so I literally could see NOTHING. Then when the fog cleared I wasn't in my car anymore, I was outside and it was snowing. The people I was in the car with were gone, but I could hear them. I looked around and saw fingertips in the snow, like they were buried or something, and no matter how much I dug I couldn't get them out... then I woke up.

i was at the shop an a chick pi** me off so i crushed her head she died it scared the shit out of me i woke up crying it was like so real

well, to begin. You're in a car, so this is representing your journey through life. And the hills represent ups and downs, you can be at the top of a hill, or the bottom, life it what happens inbetween each point. The people in the car: you need to ask who they are to you? close friends? aquaintances? Cause these people on your journey also have clouded vision; represented by the fog. As you got to a point where you could see nothing, this means total clouded judgement, regarding your life, OR, in a situation regarding those people.

Being suddenly out of the car - the journey is at a standstill. You busy something in the snow, they are frozen. Maybe its your feelings, or the people in this situation. Which means, that whatever these people represent, or whatever stage you are at in your life, something is going to be hidden from you, or taken from you due to your perceptions.

Ao if you feel like you get to a point where it seems helpless trying to fix a situation, dont. You may feel its at your 'fingertips,' but just think of it this way: you can be close melting the tip of the iceberg but you have 90% of it's weight under the water.

it's freaky when in your dreams you do something violent and completely out of character. Was it a random person or someone you know? what exactly did she do that annoyed you? Perhaps its suggesting that you're very sensative at the moment, and may be prone to over-react. I would get too upset about it hun, maybe it's just a sign to relax a little (do that on Friday at anthems )

I had a dream that I was walking past a tattoo place and someone was getting a little tattoo done on her lower back. Flying isn't overly uncommmon. Chris can do it at anypoint in his dreams. I do sometimes, but still find it hard to 'take off'. It's not so much a message but a statement of your subconscious power. obviously if you can fly, you have a fair bit of mind control which is good. Seeing it in your dreams is a sign of your freedom or independence due to your own self discipline.

Ooooh... What about the falling one? The one where you are falling from somewhere really high up and then you wake up and it feels like you slam really hard into your bed?

can't remember if I asked this before, but every now and then I dream that I'm in a fight, and everytime I go to punch someone, i barely make contact with their face. - step forward, throw everything I have into the punch so there is no way I can miss or NOT so any damage, but it still only barely touches them

What does it mean if I experience flight a lot in my dreams. Almost every dream I have I I have the power of flight in. This is something Ive been experiencing since early childhood, and I thought that it was something everyone got, but the more I talk to people, the more I realize that only a few of them experience the same thing. I have something wierd to ask

In almost all my dreams, I seem to be able to control my actions. I can seem to wake myself during the dream and almost always, I can recall what had happened inside my dreams. At times, the same dream re-occurs and I just relive those same moments again and again. Has this ever happened to anybody?

Yeah this is called Lucid dreaming. This is where you are in control and aware of your own dreamstate. This re-occurance has happened to me before too. It's probably your subconscious' way of telling 'you NEED TO KNOW THIS! I WILL SHOW YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL YOU GET IT! ' and maybe it's because you keep repeating a certain pattern of behaviour in your life your dreams are showing you in a repetitive way.

On that token, i dream of trains a lot. A train for me represents where i am on my journey. Whats going on in my life at present. Is a very personal symbol. But i have others also. Everyone has there own important signs. Might not be a 'thing', could even be a place or person/people for all you know!

I often dream of things that are about to happen, not in an exact sense of the word, but if I'm going to talk to someone or see someone I sometimes dream about them a few days or the night before it happens. Does that mean anything? Maybe it's just daydreams...

Ok, this was awhile ago but mum reminded me this morning.

I had a dream that my mum, my sister and I all got matching tattoos. My mum has got a blue butterfly tattooed on her every year marking the anniversary of her divorce. Mum's was blue, mine pink and my sisters purple.

Does this dream actually mean anything or was it just a good idea? We're trying to find a butterfly that we like and trying to work out where to put it, lol.

Ok i just had another dream, only this time it happened while i was taking a nap... Actually more like a series of dreams.

Every dream seemed so real, as in i got up from the spot i was lying sleeping, (in my room) in the exact position and went about my day, and everytime i tried to wake up it would rewind back to the spot i was lying.. then start dreaming again, further ahead in the future, and it kept happneing, so much so to a point where in my dream people were telling me i was trapped in this dream, for example i was walking around an arcade, where it had all sorts of rides, like shrek rides, starwars themed parties dressed up people, gyms etc, and the girl at the counter said, "whats it gonna be next time, what you going to dream about next?" and went into some detail about preivous dreams i had, but i didn't take notice until then... and every time i tried to wake up i'd have another dream and i would never be able to wake back up. This kinda freaked me out, so i kept taking note of what was happening around me. Everyone around me was progressing, but my life hadn't changed all too much. it was just ordinary life as in car breakdowns, friend problems etc... only one thing bothered me is that it was about 2013, and my dad was living with me and i saw him old and frail... yet he was carrying his toolbox and wearing a hat, and i told him to drop the toolbox and i just gave him a big hug and cried, cos of my fear of him getting old and dying, and it hurt... then he told me about when my mum died, which happened to have been in 2008, and he told me that the whole family was there. he said Even Tirza as there, she's one of many of my cousins, but i don't know the significance of that... the next dream/day i had after that my dad had died in 2013. It was in the future, and i just was overwhelmed with fear. The dreams kept coming but i didn't wanna be in this trap of dreams anymore, so i rushed thru my life and the last few years were wishywashy... but i was intent on waking up... i woke up on my bed not knowing whethere i was in reality or not...

Funny thing is in one of my first dreams i dreamt writting this exact message and then the girl came from behind me sayin "thats not going to work"

Well, as in your dream stated, it would be hard for me to tell you what that means. Obviously from knowing a bit about you i can see you're quite the family oriented person. I can't say if these dreams are prophetic etc, but maybe it could refer to a metaphorical death in your parents. i.e. maybe something will change for them, making them a new person in some way. as for repetitive dreams - it seems like your somewhat trapped by your circumstances. You were obviously in a very lucid deep state and very connected to your subconscious. Perhaps it's just displaying you your fears. Really connecting you with that part of your mind.


all i can suggest is write this down. Maybe keep a dream journal, see if anything else full on comes up. You may find a pattern of some kind..

I think your right tho, i really hope your right... i mean if i wrote everything in my dream down i'd still be writting now... the time frame in my dream was so realistic. felt like i was out for a few months... it was also freaky getting back up and i had to try and remember where i was... i was freaked out for about half an hour after wondering if i was out of the dream already?

And yeah i guess i am a very family orriented man, but i guess what my subconscious is telling me is that maybe i'm not showing it enough or cherrishing it. maybe i need to focus more on that side of my life. Before the bond to my family dies?

I dunno, the rest of my dreams were so freaky, had things like my brother being in a car accident, a good friend of mine from germany, (who's a christian and has never touched drugs in his life) was off his face and he wrecked my car before i was about to go on a long trip, My auntie forgetting how to cook and lok after her family, but it was all in the view of my eyes i never once saw myself, i was myself...

Well, maybe that is what you needed. Just the shock. but ask yourself to have a dream about this before you go to bed. Might take a few nights but you should get one. Something like, 'what are the things i'm not appreciative of' or 'what am i neglecting in my life at present.' 'anything i need to watch out for etc...'

I have tried that on several occasions... the problem is i very rarley have dreams, like ever... the last dream i had before this one was the one where i was on the plane n stuff, the one where u said i was going on a journey.

I sometimes lie there and think too much about stuff, and situations and i tend to stay awake for a long time because my mind doesn't rest. But when i fall asleep i wake up straight away again, no dream or anything. thats why when i have a dream it's very detailed and i remember every detail in it. including names places times etc...

OK! I got a really weird one for you

Last night I had a dream that I was about to make lunch for my boyfriend but when I went to make it all the processed meat had gone mouldy. Now, the weird bit was that the meat was in my clothes drawers (which didn't seem weird to me in the dream), I had one of every kind of processed meat and they had all past the expiry date by a month or two. The packaging had all been opened by the mould and all the meat was sweaty and green and gross.

OK, here's last nights dream.... its a little odd!! there are a couple of parts to it

I was at a party, which was my birthday. It was set in a football club or something similar, but it was on a hill. From the hill, I could see Luna Park, and next to it the Palace (the venue Hardstyle Girl and I went to Pharmacy on easter weekend.)

They were knocking down the Palace (which is actually happening) and I got really upset. At some point later in the dream (I can't remember when) there was then a barrier of some description put up - by the guys that were knocking down the venue, and they were putting it up specifically so I couldn't see it being torn down.

the other part of my dream, I wanted to change my clothes at my party. I went for a drive with good arse tash (one of my dance class students) and she took me to a house that we were all staying at so I could get changed. But all of my clothes were really casual, like nothing 'nice'. it was all trackies and old tshirts and stuff... and I couldn't find anything that I wanted to wear. I was really upset because I thought people would think badly of me because I was really casual.

then the dream ended when I was putting on a bright pink hoodie, but I put it on backwards so the hood came up over my face and I started getting really stressed because i my face was covered. then, tash left without me and went back to my party.

You're probably self doubting yourself in some way. Like, you want people to think well of you, and are looking for their approval, be it verbal, written, general acceptance whatever. But i know you love pink, and pink too is a colour for your heart chakra, so you're using something of yourself to keep something hidden. Are you putting up any barriers or being defensive about something due to your feelings??
Maybe someone is hurting you (like above in the palace) and your afraid to show your feelings about cause you may not like what they say...

I keep having the same kind of dream but it has a different ending.

Basically, I'm walking home from school and I never make it home. I must've had this dream a hundred times. Each time someone will pick me up in their car, or meet me on the corner, or convince me to come with them, or there'll be giant monsters we have to fight... but I'll always end up in the wrong place. Last night I ended up in Japan I kept trying to buy things with Australian money and they wouldn't accept it so i had to go back to the hotel to change the money.

The other thing I wanted to ask was about hotels, I always dream about hotels, does that mean anything?

i think the genral idea behind both of these kinds of dreams is more about not reaching a certain destination - always trying to ge home.

A hotel, is a stop along the way. So i guess it may be like a personal symbol for you. It shows where you are at the moment before something new happens or before the journey continues.

Having the wrong currency - a friend had a dream about that the other night, and he was in Japan lol... funny... could be similar to your other dream - what you're giving isn't what they're after in some way...

Gabby gets in on

I had a dream just an hour ago. It was weird because of the fact that the setting was at night and it was dark throughout it but then it went into bright momentarily and then back to dark. It's in dribs and drabs but I can only remember so much.

The first one was that I was with a female friend that I know well and we were walking. She was crying and I held her for so long in the one spot. We were walking through all these places and some dickheads were starting to say shit about wanting get with her. So we moved on and were confronted by two Asians who were saying shit about us. I just made her walk faster away but for some reason I ran back and started a fight with these two guys. Then for some reason I met somebody I knew along the way and he said that he knew those two guys. I then started wrapping my keychain around my hand to use as a weapon. We were walking around and ended up at some department store where I was clowning around. The sales assistants were saying something about her. She cried and I held her in my arms again for a long time. Then we walked ended up at this massive cinema like screen that was for sale for $90480.

I don't know what happened after but then I started to have an interconnecting dream.

I dreamt that I was with another woman. I didn't know who she was but she was the love of my life in that dream and despite all that she had been through - trauma, rape and abuse - I still loved her nonetheless. In the dream, she said that she's had people after her and I said I'll do everything to protect her. Then for some reason we're walking down a busy street and she wanders off. I first think that she's been killed but turns out that she's been kidnapped. I, along with the police and my family end up in a fruitless search for her. Then I have my dad telling me that it's pointless searching for her and I breakdown and cry. Then I just woke up.

In both of these dreams I was protecting these two women as well.

The other night I had a dream that I was being demoted at work from manager to just a regular employee. In the dream I was confused because irl my store is doing really well, even beating TTP which it does not usually do. I think I argued a lot, but I woke up before anything was resolved.

Yeah i think the protection side of these dreams and the 'holding on' are the big messages. Maybe it's that you're desperately looking for someone to protect, love, hold etc. And the fighting is maybe your inner conflict. The dream is alot about a) fighting, b) letting go. taunts are something you can get angry about or leave. The cinema for sale, i think thats about your life being on display. Big images. And youre dad telling you to stop looking: perhaps its that if you look for love, or keep trying to fight with feelings (especially when you're trying to let go at the same time,) it wont get you anywhere.




I'd say this is more your fears playing on your mind than actual fact... the mind is great like that!

I had a dream last night it was weird

I was in this chair and i was strapped then and i had blue overalls on and nothing else and my shoulders hurt and i couldn't get out of the chair then this voice said activate and the room started getting bigger all around me and then suddenly it was so big it looked like i was outside but at night time and then suddenly there was no gravity and the chair undid itself and i was floating so i kicked off the chair and this F*CKING HARSH kick solo just started going off in my head i made it or something close to it in a song i'm making now and then that noise from the matrix you know when neo touches the mirror and goes into the real world that real discordant rooowwwwwwwwwaaaawwwwwwwwwwowwww type noise yeah for ages and my ears really hurt and they did that thing when you drive up on the hills and they don't pop and then suddenly a massive amount of people where below me but it looked like they were also above me like below me thousands of people but above me looking like at me there were blown up pictures of peoples faces and they all had blue then a feather dropped from the roof it was on fire it was coming down very fast like can't get out of the way of it styles went through me but it didn't hurt then suddenly i was back in a chair on a stage with dr. Phil there were heaps of lights so many people camera flash's and then i heard someone say his souls on fire and then i woke up

Very VERY strange...

Um, blue - communication. Trying to get BIG messages across not too successfully. Self anaylysis. Trying to get a message or music into the real world... fire - passion... very strange

Um like, this might sound stupid but set your alarm on your phone and set it to a pretty loud tone so it wakes you up in a really quick harsh way then quickly hit snooze and go back to sleep and just keep doing it you dream like a nigga

Ask yourself to have a dream about something. Keep asking til you get them! You'll be surprised it might work!

I always seem to dream about school and needing to go the toilet, or not quite making it the toilet. Now, I know dreams are about symbolism, but what does the toilet mean? Lol...

lol aight i'll tell you bout my dream, but it's weird i had it times in a row thismorning

i'm driving down the hill near church hill road near Sharan's house where you can turn right onto church hill or go straight near the bombay bicycle club and i'm going heaps heaps fast and i can't stop heaps fast like 320kph styles and i can't stop then i wake up and it happened not once not twice but thrice what does that mean lol

i had the first dream where i thought about what i wanted to do and did it, had control of it, went for a fly in the sky, didn't get to play around for very long, i really want to do it again, and see if i can start changing my surroundings and stuff too, but it seemed like a fluke, don't know what it was that made me capable of this...

This is lucid dreaming. It happens with age

ok I have just realised that I havent really dreamt in about 6 - 8 months. I am usually good at interpreting my own dreams, however, there is something that I haven't worked out...

some dreams I have are usually violent, involving fighting other people, or unknow monsters - usually shapeless creatures but you can sense their malevolent presence. I get in to a fight and get seriously or fatally injured. Just before dying in the dream I realise it is a dream and wake myself up. Other times it seems I have an etheral presence and leave the body that I am occupying (not my own) and return to my own body waking up.

Any thoughts please?

i had a dream i pulled something out of my face and it was i chunk of glass... i have no idea why!

i dreamt i got kicked out of some sort of big brother show ... cos i was too boring... as in i didnt do anything hahahaha.

however, been having quite a few violent dreams recently. i always seem to be protecting people.

lots of swords, and dissappearing into whisps of purple smoke. i havent touched the swords in real life for quite a few months now.. not even teh training bokken, so im wondering why all of a sudden they are all over my dreams...

maybe they're calling you back.. your mind has been absent from them for a long time, and i know u used to meditate with them... They calm u down and maybe not having had them for some time is really getting to you and they just want you to find them again?

maybe your anger is building up and isn't getting dissepated by your practicing?

OMG I had the weirdest dream about rats... What does it mean??

I dreamed that Hdan and I had a pet rat (possibly a cute puppy too) and we were hosting a new years eve party and we hadn't seen our rat in awhile then this giant mangey looking rat was standing on top of a high cupboard so we assumed it was him, didn't think anything of it, then it was almost midnight so everyone went outside to watch the fireworks and we found our little rat cowering on the ground in pain because the fat rat had hurt him! Then we either tried killing the evil rat or just got our little rat and ran outside, I don't remember which...

had the most fraked up dream the other day,

was having a convo with my fairly recent ex, which turned into me raging at her like there was no tommorow, yelling and blowing everything out of proportion, a friend of mine happened to walk past the room and ask if shit was alright and i started raging at him... raged at all my closest friends saying the most spiteful hurtfull things that i could think of

i woke up feeling like shit, i am a very calm and collected person and i felt REALY guilty for the things i had said to the point which i had to call a mate and just have a convo to reasure myself later in the day.

aeon - i know that feeling. And its just a reminder of perhaps how you culd behave. People have subconsious desires to blast those who have hurt them. At least you know its not the approach for you

G - rats are usually a sign of worry and suspiscion. So maybe you both put something aside, and maybe the problem/worry is going to be bigger/smaller than before.. fireworks - i assume it could be something between you i.e the sparks... maybe its an energy/chemistry thing... any more clarification needed pm me

Yes, because a dream is decoded/decyphered using symbols like cars and roads and such. I have a handy book here at home, and when I'm curious as to what my dreams are meaning/trying to tell me I refer to that. It's usually pretty well spot on!

Not all dreams mean something though, so don't try and look for a meaning.

I refer to my book when I get repetitve symbols/people/colours in my dreams.
