KYLIE FIGHTS BREAST CANCER

this may not interest many or may just interest you...

I have always had the hots for KYLIE even back in the day of that show you know it i just don't wanna type it.

KYLIE learned she had early-stage breast cancer yesterday during a routine check-up and immediately postponed her sell-out Australian tour, which was to start in Sydney tomorrow

I could have added the whole artical but just wanted to say that i hope she beats it with out to much hassle.
I lost my mother to Cancer and know the grief and pain that it can not only put the person who has it through but the family and friends also.

I am no Dr but do belive that all adults should get the checks done that need to be done.

Kylie and her family all hope that the exposure that will come of this will help others to see there Dr's to make sure they are clear as it is something that if caught early can be treated. They say you have a good 80% chance of getting rid of it if found early.
Unfortunatly for my mum this wasn't the case.
R.I.P mum i love you

no good news for Kylie... but think when stars have medical problems it is a good thing... because i draws alot of media attention to the issue...

Like Michael J Fox, Christopher Ried, Olivia Newton John, Rock Hudso, Delta Goodram, etc... the media and the world learn more about the problems and preventative measures!

My heart really goes out to her- such a beautiful person & wonderful entertainer. She'll be right - afterall, she's tough enough to battle the hardships in the music industry for so long and consistantly come out on top biggrin.gif

Its such a horrible thing to go thru...i had a scare a couple of years ago. the worst part was awaiting results! *shudders at the thought*

must be so much worse to go thru all the treatments for it tho, i feel for all those ppl out there that get cancer and the families involved!

I get my pink fuzzy furry friend to support breast cancer every year they are out smile.gif so cute and so pink! and all for a VERY good cause!

My best wishes to Kylie and all those that have to go through such a horrible experience!!!

Good call Paul I agree, but how come with all the work Robert Downey Junior is doing for recognition of drug related illness (addiction), America still can't come close to having a decent drug policy tongue.gif

My girlfriend and her friend were going to see Kylie in Sydney on friday night but it got cancelled... on the upside we're still going to Sydney!!!

Thank god for non-refundable hotel rooms biggrin.gif

My thoughts are also with Kylie and her family...

Kylie is an awesome performer and has done a lot for the australian music industry. Cancer is bloody scary... I have had cancer removed from my throat and without the love and support of my friends and family I doubt I would've been as strong as I was. My aunty has also had her breast removed about a month ago due to cancer, my ex bf's grandfather died of cancer, a girl I went to school with's nephew died of cancer at 6 years old. it just goes to show that cancer is on the rise, and it seems everyone has, or at least knows of one person who has had/has cancer.

I always support every cancer charity, as the sooner they find a cure, the better.

Hugs and love to all of those who has had a loved one, or themself, suffer from cancer.

At the end of the day... our own body is the most inmportant thing in our lives. Without it, we don't have a life...

Take care of yourselves, eat well, excercise, have regular check ups at your GP, drink and party in moderation, give up smoking *points at self*, and don't ever think that it can't happen to you. Because, unfortunatley, it can happen to anyone.

TAKE CARE EVERYONE and GET BETTER KYLIE!! Australia loves you!
hmm... on a lighter note, and I believe I speak for a lot of people on this... I hope she doesn't lose too much her boob. they're an aussie icon, along with her butt. but her halth is way imortant, please don't misconstrue this statement.

On the up side of things to come out today Kylie's cancer seem to only be small and has not spread which means it can usally be removed with out too much fear of more.
Once again we all hope she gets better soon.

They said on the late new that even today there was an increase of peolpe booking in for test at thier GP's.

Even though the press are going mad it has woken up the people not only of australia but the world.
