.. and shags, if you want to have your avatar as your screensaver entry you have to put it into a format that can be downloaded and used as a screensaver by others

Not all of those photos are from one, the two which are from me, Bexta and Fatal Dose (i think thats all) are from Winter Enchanted 3
Personally, i'd be pissed if someone won a prize using a photo i took without my consent, a simple pm would of been nice plus i would of gave the original high res images to use.
Actually the picture of the crowd bottom left and the green Laser top right are mine also i think....

yeah me and shags r a team. she has the ideas but dont know how 2 use the programs. so she is the ideas and im the skills.. lol... so if we win we either have 2 get a t-shirt each or 1 big 1 so we can both fit in it..
Im actually working on a 2 part deviantart piece using the picture of the empty St Pauls before anthems that i took at the bump in, i'll try and get it finished next week.
i agree with u man, it is nice to see credit where it is due...that why when i put my pics on i give credit to morph, might be my ideas but he is doing the work and he was used one of his pics......
so remember ppl, it might be ur great ideas but without the pics that are available there would be nothing to make ur pics with.....so asking might not be a bad idea.....and a thank you to everyone that takes pics and lets us see what a great nite was had by all...without u we would all be wondering ...."what did happen that nite after i left??"
i used one of your pix for my screen saver EpharGy but i left your lttle branding on it so people know. Do you have a problem with that? I dont mind taking it off and putting someone elses photo up for people to see.

I can only assume EpharGy is talking about my wallpaper, in which case his initial argumentative point is utterly wrong, and he's missed the point of me even posting a wallpaper to begin with .. having said that:
Normally I'd bite to provocation, but that's not what anthems is about - so the issue will be solved in private, at least that's what I'm hoping for.

My reasoning behind using EpharGy's pics was simply that a competition for the anthems website seemed a fine place to use material from the anthems website.
What EpharGy is saying though is completely true - it is a good idea to let someone know when you are using something they have created, and it also gives the artist/photographer a sense of satisfaction to know something they've produced is being put to further use.
So yeah, let's learn from this mixup and keep others informed when we use their stuff

so like... my only good designs for the anthems pics have been by hand... but the scanner has some missing part to it *i think its the program CD actually* and im unable to scan them right now but hey at the next available opportunity i'll try! HMMMMMKAY! Or, i'll try and transfer them to the computer and re do them or something...???

and anyway its called art. if you squint the right way and make your eyes go blurry as if your looking at one of those 3D images and direct your attention to the bottom right of the pic it almost resembles the anthems smily face logo. but if you dont do it right youll never get it. oh and you have to be really drunk too...........
was just messin round and came up with this...
i was aiming for a 'carved wood' look... but i couldnt get the right font, and i couldnt get it the right way so its kinda turned out as a 'couldve been carved wook' look... enjoy!

Second attempt:
1. http://jdcole.customer.netspace.net.au/anthems/Anthems_2.wsz
2. Unzip/extract the files to C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\Anthems_2
3. Open Winamp.
4. Press ALT and S at the same time.
5. Select "Anthems_2".
6. The skin will again work on Winamp 2.x or 5.x
7. It should look something like this:
I've just been informed that you can also just move the .zip file to the Winamp Skins directory and it'll work that way.
.. as in, you don't HAVE to extract the zip file to the directory - you can just move the file itself and it'll work fine

hmmm's... this is like... i threw water onto a metal surface. spelt out anthems, and the water kinda pooled overlapping together...
but it looks kinda kewl (you should see all the dodgy ones i have saved but not shown you hahaha)

fairly bland,pretty much only a demonstration, only whipped it up in 2min...
all created in photoshop, no resources used. possibilty's are endless with photoshop, you can never stop learning.
i wana play this game too, but i hav no ideas so far

PSP is just as powerful as photoshop, although photoshop cs2 has a much better plugin base now mmmmm raw2
out of both, Photoshop is my fave... but thats just cos i worked on it for atleast 6 months through college....
PSP i worked on for about 3 months... but that was mainly just foolin round... not actually workin on it...
but yeah... they have a similar format... which is good... tho im just learning the functions at the moment

Easy, when making a wallpaper, create one for each of the 5ish usual sizes and upload as a zip.

1280x1024
1600x1200
should cover most bases.
oh yeah... but your not gonna say no to an entry cos it uploaded too big.. thats when ppl can change its size and shove it back on...
but thats not hard to change the sizes...
