That's true, some things i tend to go with the brand name.. but when it came to the pill i was pretty happy with generic.. (it's worked for me.. not preggers yet!) especially with the cost of brand name! bloody ridiculous i think!

generic is exactly the same when it comes to medications, so if you get a generic and it doesn't work, it means that that particular drug wasn't right for you and you need to go back to your doctor.

Generic has the same active ingredients, its just usually made cheaper - ie - different coating etc.

Nup, not kidding at all unfortunately. I won't trust generic brand even though it is supposed to be the same ingredients. I can't go through what I have been going through for the past 6 months. Not fun at all I've found something that works now. Just sucks that it's so expensive.

but i purchased something that was working then went back to the pharmacist and they only had the generic available and then it no longer worked! STRANGE

when that happens you need to report it to your doctor/pharmacist. the whole point of generics is that they are exactly the same and should work the same. if they don't, then you need to notify someone so that it can be looked into.
