you go to your settings, edit profile and there will be a blank space for custom member title, just type what you want it to read and hey presto

go to my controls, you'll see my profile, select edit my profile and there is line there for custom member title... it'll be blank as u've not put anything in as yet and it's at the default "i'm just too lazy to change it"......

bekky, it may not be the fact u brake to much. it could be the style of driving. now ive never seen u drive.. but going on a standard stereotype of young female driver ( im guessing a small 2/4 door hatch) u would be the type that accelerates hard up to the point where u need to slam the brakes on to stop in time. hard on the gas hard on the brakes? slow but steady braking reduces wear and tear, as opposed to brake late and hard.
then again.. in the rx7... its BLAT racing. BRAKE LATE AND TURN. but... that sorta thing is race track use.

My smilies, the quick reply thing, being able to quote other people and a whole lotta stuff doesnt work when I'm visiting a website or board. Only thing that does work is the "Add Reply" button but the smilies and all else doesnt seem to work.

that's just an error letting you know there was a scripting error, chances are the person who wrote the page left out a ";" or other delimiter by accident. if you have turned on debugging or like setting your browser will check the page it's about to display for coding errors. most of the time if there is an error browsers will ignore it but you can get them to force check. when i say script i'm not talking about H4X, just html or php code. it seems strange that you're the only one - for all we know - that's getting this, put it in the list of bugs on anthems like the viewing posted pictures bug.

IE is giving errors but seems to be working now. FF just wouldnt allow emoticons or quoting, it just reloaded the pages. how do I get the browser to force check it?
you can ctrl + click refresh each time.
I've forogotten where IE hides the option to force check for a new page everytime.

yeah fair point. there are very few events that are all ages these days, and there is no age limit to loving the music... all enchanteds (to my knowledge) have been all ages, so most would have been expecting this one would be the same. Can't blame them for being disappointed...

As far as i know this is the first 18+ Enchanted.. so you can understand why some kids are hoping to make it.
I'm 27years myself and have never had any problems with any under 18s at any enchanted. I have many friends that age. I think there should be more under 18 raves in Adelaide

lucky i was running dual head on my pair of 19" monitors at the time. so managed to keep one screen operating.
anyone had experience with this sort fo issue??
i can run one screen fine.. but my seconds a blank monitor.
ive swicthed cables and both monitors work. just one DVI connector aint sending a signal.

Not...100%...my nana had 2 strokes years and years ago, she cant use her left arm or leg anymore since then, stem cells arent going to fix that. Even if if fixed the paralysis, she hasnt used the muscles in those limbs since then, they will take a long time to work again. You cant fix the problem if it has affected certain brain functions.
On the other hand if it was a nervous system/muscle problem that caused it, then yeah it could be possible.

I'm all for rehabilitation if it's for something that doesn't stem from serious mental problems but prison for the scum that do these things doesn't teach them a damn thing because smp's right, they spend no time in the general prison population. You can't cure a peodophile, mentally they are just not right in the head and short of a full front lobe labotomy there isn't any "treatment program" in the world that can make them right so take away the source of their perversion and cut it off!!!

I had this discussion on another forum but I'm trying to decipher whether paedophilia is a mental illness. Its hard to differentiate the whole thing as we have had some high profile cases regarding this, and some cases of the abusers being the abusee.

I don't think Paedophilia is recognised as a mental illness, unless it has been reclassified since I did my psych phd. There is ever growing recognition, however, that the source of the actions that make a person a paedophile may be the result of mental disorder or chemical imbalance of the brain. Under the law there will always be reluctance to recognise paedophilia as a mental disorder because it then gives rise to a defence against prison time or other legal punishment for the actions of paedophiles beyond treatment in a mental institution or a psychological treatment program, the majority of which have been found to be largely unsuccessful in rehabilitating offenders. Paedophiles know what they are doing is wrong and are fully aware of the legal implications of their actions and are therefore, in the eyes of the law not able to claim a psychological illness as a means of defence. The very nature and brutality of the crime demands justice in our society and the excuse of having a mental disorder compelling you to do these things just doesn't cut it given that children are defenceless and should be protected under the rule of law at all costs, anyone harming a child should therefore bare the full brunt of the law without conscession. If paedophilia ever becomes a mental illness defence there would be public outcry and uproar. It's a henious crime that requires henious punishment. Having said that it's never a black and white issue but then again a person committing such terrible acts should not be afforded the cover of mental illness when, in effect there is no cure for the illness and rehabilitation of offenders is rare, if it happens at all. The safest thing will always be to keep them locked away from those they prey on and transferring that to a mental hospital, where there are people who are equally as vunerable as children because of their various mental illnesses is not the answer.

Ive got an old almost sharp knife- start the line at my door & ill happily castrate them- no need to waste money on anaesthetic & ill provide my services for free.
I just hope he gets the help he deserves to help him overcome this horrible HORRIBLE act & that he can lead an almost normal life in time (also that the jerks who did it are severely hurt)

I've noticed lately that my hearing is a little under par the day or so after I go out... and I've thought of starting to wear earplugs when I'm out these days.
I've also made a valid effort NOT to dance right in front of the speakers (as I have done for the last couple of years) so to minimise any further damage to my hearing...

I haven't, but my other half's hearing is shocking from him falling asleep on a pretty serious speaker stack a few years back. He's now religious about wearing ear-plugs when we go out, which will hopefully prevent further damage. The doctor gave him a syringe to pump water into his ears to clear them out when they're particularly blocked & you should see the gunk that comes out....ewwwwww!!

How much you looking at spending?
When you're saying looking at a mid-range unit that normally equates to about spending $3k to $8k.

i get that bit. you shouldve noticed on the pic that i posted that i have already changed the font colour etc. i would like to change the grey section that is BEHIND the font. i know if you choose one of the preset bullshite colour schemes it changes to disgusting shades of 'mauve' or 'ochre' but i dont want that. i want black. not pooey pus.....

after selecting MENU under the ITEM tab move across to COLOUR and select appropriate colour!!

i needed to chose one of the crappy colour schemes first so that everything goes black and then go to advanced tab. yay!!

you should just call sercurity becuase you shouldnt have to put up with thing being thrown at you, plus its the easiest way without getting involved for the person to be kicked out and stop the person gambling

I heard you have to order the ink in. mOst places will apply it, but you have to get them to order the uv ink... so maybe call up a few places and see if they do it. I got a tat done recently at semaphore and they were really good so try them

Yeah.. i was going to mention that myself actually! you can do most things they do in america, only here in australia it's just a case of looking into it a bit harder and usually ordering equipement/materials.

Been trying to look for those for ages too, a guy I work with says his tat glows under uv, but Im not sure where he got it done, I think his is more...uv reactive while still being seen during daylight, rather than invisible during daylight and uv in the dark, so Im not sure...

the person in my life realises they have a gambling problem and they are getting help....so i guess im lucky

i wish to burn every pokey machine in the world, i hate them.....the only form of gamblin i will do in a cassino is roulett this person in your life will not realise they have a gambling problem untill they wish to see it. maybe when you next talk to them, ask them to try and stop for a week...and use the 'for me' line, or 'prove me wrong'. explain to them how worried you are about them
if you are really concerned why dont you call that gambling hotline and ask them how you can help them
basically you have to make them come to the conclusion they haeva problem, you cant force them to see it, just help them

Unfortunately this person is my mum. She knows she has a problem but she always says that she wont gamble. Its even worse that all the friends she knows are hardcore gamblers and wont stop lending her money to gamble or as she calls it "socialize". I really dont know what to do. apparently you can hire the top room of Earth and two of their Resident DJs for $500 (that's what some friends of mine are doing).. so if you can get enought ppl.. you could kinda make it an event.. and have ppl buy tickets...

the richmond hotel in the mall is a nice place.. i think some others were thinking of hiring it out for a group birthday thingy in september and from memory it was about $150.. plus whatever finger food you want to have.

Went looking at toys r us and i think i spent more time looking at the boys toys. I wish i was a kid again there are so many cool toys hahahahah Anyways i ended up at toy world and getting her one of them jewelary making kits (Thanks Kandi!!!!!) and a couple stuffed bird toys. One a budgie and another a magpie all that make noises to what thay should sound like. Thay all went down like a treat!!! Funny thing is that when me and me mate went in there we had nearly all the toys making there noises.

The wierd thing about the fine is that it says that there is a discount of 25% if you pay the fine in two weeks. WTF?! Is this all legit or should I trash it???

I think I saw something on RA about this, and that it is a dodgy practise....but like Kandii said, ring the Adelaide council and see if its legitimate before you pay a cent!!!

I want something that will be territorial, protective, but good with kids. I also want something that will not require too much attention/company, as I'm not home a lot.
At the moment I'm thinking a labrador. But, as I've only ever had border collies in the past, I really don't know what to get

I'm not sure if there is a dog that gets by without much attention...as far as I am concerned they are all attention whores
Its a huge, long term responsibility to get a dog so think very hard about it....Its something I've been thinking about for a while. And when I said 'too much' attention, I meant a dog that will cope with me being gone anywhere up to 12 hours a day during the week.

i cant give you any suggestions i dont really know much about dogs but what i do know is that all dogs need a lot of attention and company, especially when they are young, and especially if you want it to be protective and loyal. they give what they get basically, and theyre very social animals.
12 hours a day is a long time to not have any attention
well its not like I can take time off of work to stay at home for three months to raise a puppy. Not that I'm actually looking at getting a puppy mind you.
Perhaps I need to explore other options.
Any suggestions? And no, moving house is not an option.

Get a Staffy. Great fun dogs, excellent with kids and i hear Doctor Harry saying he loves these dogs as family dogs. When i brought mine up i always made sure when thay where eating i would grab there food and put it back down so thay would get used to people been around them when thay eat. You could come to my house and while there eating a bone you could walk up to them and take it from them and thay would just give you these looks like "Hay not fair" while just sitting there and thay would gentyly take it out of your hand when you offer it back. I done this so when i have my nephews around and if thay play when thay are eating the dogs wont be aggrisive. Thay arnt a massive dog and thay are fun. Thats my opinion for sure. Im just biased thats all
Maybe you could check out the dog pounds and adopt a dog. Thay are desexed and thay go through behavour training. You ccan get both Pure bred and mongreals. Just go in there play with the dog and take you kid aswell. Your saving a dog from death row and thay wont ever forget that

thats actually what I was thinking of doing. Friend of mine got a dog from there, and Ribz the recovery dog rocks!!
I reckon you should get a doberman. Mum and dad had three when I was a lil tike and they were obedient and protective.
i'm actually thinking more along the lines of a german shepherd... even tho as a whole I don't like them, but most people are scared of them. And I can't see me being scared of my own dog tho

A german shepherd is cool. Get one a short-haired one.
Get one of those small dogs you can keep in your pocket

why shouldn't you pay it, your GF entered a carpark full of signs and neglected to pay, its someones property that you are parking on and they can charge what ever they want, if you don't like the price you leave and don't park there. its like refusing to pay at UPark or any other parking places that are not council!!
