and there is where it all started... conception of the anthems whore.. in all its glory... a 26page welcome thread... at one stage the longest thread in anthems!



its where i first got tempted by the forum whoring.. and where i met tash oldschoolie fo sho and man many others..

that thread created a chance for me to talk to others.. and ot get to know people so that by the time (0)NE occured in october.. i was gaurenteeed to have a wicked night! and i did!!!

that was the night SMP and evil mich took me on a tour of the world i was about to be engulfed by.. where i met Cris P and his " lovely" lauren, who im happy to say are two people i still count as great friends ( tho lauren still owes me about 1000 hugs :P )

the blame.. or the fame.. of getting me involved goes to Seven of Gaffio, a great mate who ive spent alot of my clubbing time with back in the days of time warp and our groupd of mates that made it happen every week.. the dance floor shenangins of me and shezzi84 sarah hahahahha dam you girl.. but frk me we had some fun!!!

pissed wednesdays... chatting up the bar maids with softy, and a top bunch of freinds.

many who i see on here.. and many ive lost touch with.

but all in all.. its been a wild journey of 12 months!

Heh, I don't know how you people remember this stuff.

Mine was the day I signed up - but it wasn't in my Welcome thread .. I don't think we even had Welcome threads back then.

how the do you remember? like i never posted in my welcome thread, i think i may have left a few comments in the gallery but thats about it, my first thread that i started was called lets get paro tho :lol: closly followed by who likes to get paro lmao

my first post i said hey on mwah thread... i didnt no what it was.. then someone laughed and it didnt even count as a post then gabbie told me what it was so i quickly edited it .. :P

I cant remember mine. But I remember meeting a whole bunch of yas at the very 1st meeting for anthems at Tonic on the same night as my girlfriends birthday...boy was she pissed.

heres my 1st post and you know what?? I still have those pants and tops. I figured they were more precious to me in memories than to sell them.

It was in th thread called " Why are anthems people so snobby" LMAO at that now they are some of my best friends. Don't think the guy who posted it even comes anymore.

So is there a usual meeting place for anthems people at events, as i am brand new and don't know a sole. Even if i talked to one of you at either one.one or oldschool i wouldn't have known who you were. I too would like to meet more of the big raving family. I have chatted to a few randoms well quite a few actually but would love to put some names to the faces. Cheers Paul

I had a different nickname back then, had to think of one on the spot because we went out that night and quickly signed up

...and just as I checked that thread, only person I knew from here was Gaffio, and the only other person that welcomed me was... believe it or not, Emma (no idea who she was at the time) :lol:
